Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, has opined that the country’s democracy would be stronger if our economy is strong.

Mr Emmanuel stated this on Friday evening shortly after receiving the prestigious Governor Of The Year Award by Leadership Newspapers.

The epoch making event which was held at the Abuja International conference centre, attracted dignitaries across the globe.

Governor Emmanuel who became the star of the night was heavily praised by the Publisher of the newspaper; Sam-Ndah Isaiah as well as other speakers for his monumental strides in Akwa Ibom.

Governor Udom Emmanuel dedicated the award to the people of Akwa Ibom State who are very supportive in his vision.

“I dedicate this award to the people of Akwa Ibom State, who are supportive of my vision and continue to inspire us to work harder. The challenges are daunting, but with God on our side, we shall succeed”

Seat warming governor. The only time you see him is when he is attending PDP meeting, child dedication, pastor ordination(with one nearly killing him), useless ground breaking occasions, burials, birthday parties, in his office receiving political sycophants. Now in desperation he has gone to buy this useleds award. Governor Udom what is your achievements so far despite having such huge allocations. paying salaries? Is that an achievement now?
