Here are some things you wish to consider..

1. The camouflage is not just a uniform to a soldier but a tool of concealment that is just as important as his gun. It allows a soldier to blend in with his environment making him harder to spot. It would be foolish for this Minister to walk into Sambisa wearing a bright coloured outfit that would just make him stick out.

2. He is representing the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed forces on this trip and so carries with him the full authority of the President and so him wearing the Military uniform isn't out of place. If the President were to have gone himself, he would also be in same uniform.

3. That uniform isn't just for his safety but also for that of the soldiers who would be on his protection detail.


So I don't see what is funny or even a joke about this. Unless there is something you see that I am missing.
