It was pretty clear from the beginning that Bassey had someone he was serious with outside the house, he just picked debie as a "safe" option cos he knew he couldn't date her. If there was anyone Bassey liked in the house, It was bisola but he did a good job of hiding it.

No, as for bassey he has always say it that he has a girlfriend called Anita. Debbie is just an emotional girl that can't hide her feeling for someone. Plus it's bigbrother that first try to force them both together​. Just like poor Marvis who has no choice but to continuously kiss guys that share the same homones with her.
