The complainant connived with the police to package a civil case as a criminal case. This is what average nigerians experience daily. Landlord will lock up tenant because he can settle police.

Exactly! This is an outrage...she ought to sue the sh*t out of the Nigerian police et al. besides truth is always a defense to defamation especially as it concerns a public issue or a public personality...honestly I'm pissed about this angry

If you must write don't write what you are not sure of. There is a difference between freedom of the press and witch hunting. She is so stupid even her parents don't care anymore . That is why some talk nonesense and run to America and Canada mostly against christians. Which of them is bold enough to say something against Islam and islamic scholars. None because they are afraid of being killed. Yet liberal christians have become the enemy of the cross. The truth is that most of them are cultists and satanic worshippers. True religion is their enemy.

It's crazy that this woman was put in jail, and cuffed. It is completely wrong, and the idiot Nigerian police has proved itself so damn backward, they're up the devil's a.ss.

It's all screwed up.

Are there no Lawyers association in Nigeria to see into this miscarriage of justice?

Or have they all been bought and paid for?
Re: Kemi Olunloyo Granted Bail by Omeokachie: 7:01pm On Mar 30, 2017
Hopefully lessons have been learnt and she would henceforth give more thought to her next action.
Re: Kemi Olunloyo Granted Bail by FTBOY: 7:01pm On Mar 30, 2017
nigeria and backwardness!

since when did defamation become a criminal offence in law?

she could have only been sued for emotional damages and character assassination (and any other big grammar), not for crime.

anything is possible in Nigeria.
