WHAT IF ANALYSIS
What-If Analysis allows you to try out different values (scenarios) for formulas.
• Corruption left and right in the country, and Nigerians are suffering amidst economic recession. No more fuel subsidy, yet there is recession and suffering (fuel sold at high rate, Dollar unstable; the highest equilibrium SHAKE ever in Nigeria history).
• Why was subsidy stopped; because the return goes to some very few but powerful CABALS.
WHAT-IF ANALYSIS
• What-if the money paid to the fuel subsidy cabals had continued; would government FAIL? NO!
• What if the money recovered from the former NNPC GMD through EFCC was not recovered and he alone with his aide lavished it; would government FAIL? NO!
• What-if the money returned by the Paris Club was not returned; would government FAIL? NO!
• What-if all the money looted by the former Minister of Petroleum was not discovered, would Government FAIL? NO!
• What-if MTN Nigeria was not found wanting and had to pay 80 billion naira to the federal government through NCC; will that warrant the government to FAIL? NO!
• For sixteen years, when looting / corruption have been taking different forms at different level of government in the nation, ordinary Nigerians can afford three square meals a day. Now, no more corruption and yet there is hunger.
WHAT-IF ANALYSIS
• What-if any recovered loot is not returned back into the Government account and such money being use for something that will touch the life of all Nigerians positively such as:
• Government paying NEPA BILLS for all Nigerians for any Month such money is recovered.
• Government paying JAMB FEES for all willing jambites instead of making Jamb fees as high as N8,000 and registration process extremely stressful. (some state government do pay WAEC fees for all government school students)
• Government using such money to build fast track Hospital, Pay salary Arrears of Police and other forces or workers, paid retired pensioners (instead of returning those money back into government account)
• Government build fast track commercial banks and employ capable Nigerian graduates, build insurance company on the fast lane, establish IT training institute with low cost of training.
• Government use such money to start the LIKE of MMM (yes, I mean it MMM), where Nigerians (employed and unemployed) can be rest assured of 30% of their savings every month end. (It’s a national cake and recovered looted monies; what-if they were not recovered). If properly fashioned, it will go along way helping Nigerians survive.
• Federal Government can use those money to remove beggars on the street
• Pump the money into fast tracking long term project; power generation, railway construction, road and bridge construction (excess crude revenue was used to build most bridges in Lagos in the 70’s not looted by one person)
WHAT-IF ANALYSIS
What-if all these monies were not known or recovered, government will never FAIL and now that they were recovered, I suggest these monies should not be returned into government account again, instead they should be used for something that will touch the life of every Nigerians directly like:
1. Paying NEPA bills for all Nigerians
2. Pay Jamb fees for all Nigerians
3. Create new companies and employ Nigerians Only (Not China, Not Americans)
4. Buy Dollar and Resell (solve Dollar’s Saga)
5. Create the Like of MMM and pay Nigerians 30% of the recovered Looted Money( it’s a national cake, not one person’s money)
THANK YOU
