Not necessarily... if you remember to retighten the bolts at intervals.

Oh really, then guess it's going to be used by a mechanic then, because you won't expect me an end user to be bothering my self with that. This is one of the reasons people stay away from Nigerian used vehicle with modified engine.

What is the issue with double head gaskets?

When head gasket is doubled, compression becomes less due to increase in cylinder volume. Effects will be loss of power, high fuel consumption, etc. The car won't drive as good as previously.

Also, head gasket failure is more likely as the gasket isn't designed to be doubled.
