He was successful in jailing a lot of Internet fraudsters and 419ers. Notable convictions he got was Tafa Balogun, Bode George, Nwude and Anajemba.
The only downside to his mandate was the monumental corruption being done by Obj cronies and his silence or giving them a clean bill of health

FARIDA WAZIRI: She was appointed by Umara Yaradua after Ribadu was booted out but she was a square peg in a round hole who allowed for politicians to walk with Lucky Igbineduon plea bargaining.
She set the anti corruption task force backward and made it another toothless dog


IBRAHIM LAMORDE: He was appointed by GEJ and his reign was characterised with politicians having a field day with the anti corrupt agencies. Rumour has it that he was buying exotic houses through bribery from politicians. He never convicted anyone and he wasn't ready to fight his "Friends"



IBRAHIM MAGU: The fear of Efcc today is the beginning of wisdom. Magu has brought that fear into every citizens with his mandate now going after the man living inside a kiosk but hoarding money for any big wig. Magu has been all brawn with no bite. He has shown that you can do your job without thinking whose ox is gored.
The problem with his fight is that it has only be centered on the opposition and those who are not in the good book of the party in power. He has made the EFCC to be like an agent of victimisation instead of an anti corruption network.
There has been no notable convictions in the court of law but through Efcc propaganda a lot of politicians today have been convicted in the court of public opinion

They all didn't meet our expectations.
But if we must judge by convictions ,which is supposed to be a deterrent,
Ribadu tops it,others are as docile as the g in gmelina.

Ribadu was the most effective IMHO because Obj gave him full backing and he was more concerned with legal conviction than Media conviction

Magu is corrupt, clownish, an actor who should be in nollywood rather than being in EFCC.

Ribadu was fearless, patriotic and a natural corruption fighter. He arrested and dealt with mostly people in the ruling party unlike useless Magu who will close eyes to looters close to president like Amaechi
