Greetings to you all!!!

I just want to bring this five "burning"points that make me to think that the Biafra agitation by IPOB has political Undertone.

I know that most of my brothers and sisters from the eastern part of this country will not like this, though it is just my opinion.

Firstly, I am compelled to believe that Nigeria plays politics of compensation and yeild to a regional, ethnic or religious jingoism. This is a topic for another day.

I am yet to be convinced on the relationship between Femi Fani Kayode and Ayo Fayose the governor of Ekiti state when we all know that FFK was the former spokes person to the ex president Goodluck Jonathan's campaingh organisation and Ekiti state next gubernatorial election is fast approaching. These men a notable PDP adherents, the former was not and still not happy on how his master lost election to the opposing party, you should not be astonished seeing him in any organisation that is totally opposing the current government at the centre while the later is indirectly campaigning seriously for his next election, thereby identifying him self with the opposition group. This is contrally to the preaching of the IPOB leader who was canvassing for total segregation from the "Hausa-fulani and the Yorubas". I don't think one needs a prophet or a soothsayer before you could understand the "hand writing on the wall".

OP where are those reasons. For your information Biafra is an hurricane thou dare not stand on its path. Can you cover pregnancy? The people are saying it very loud and clear. I wonder why you people are hearing a different misleading tone. Is it not better for you to listen carefully and understand that the Biafra agitation has gathered momentum. All these beating about the bush will not stop the agitation but is increasingly winning more people on the side of Biafra agitators.

Op Nigeria on its own was a political arrangement. You have a point here but you must be objective to the point of seeing the marginalization of the people.

No matter how weak a man is, he will not keep quiet in the face of oppression for so long.

Op, except and unless you're a baby, you should know that agitation for self-governance and secession is as political as it is economical. But the most important goal is sovereignty.

So, run along.

The write up is not necessary because you're telling the obvious.
Have Igbos said its not political? Its has always been and will always be a struggle for (political) self-determination.

You talked about being marginalised. Do you know that the first president of the senate and even dominant senate present in Nigeria are from the East?

Are you aware that the first Speaker of the house of representative is from the East, the same person was the first foreign affairs minister, the first ambassador and permanent representative to UN?

The first Military head of state was an Easterner.

The first civilian vised president is an Easterner.

C'mon the list goes on...

Secondary, IPOB became vocal when PDP lost election in 2015, I have asked most of my friends who preach biafrasm, I am yet to get a convised answer to that. Why wouldn't IPOB became incline when Jonathan was the president as he is a "biafran" according their claim. That was when he would have yielded to the aspirations and plea of his people if it were genuin, instead of clamouring for Biafra when you know very well that the president of the country can not yield to that. Is that not an illusion?

Listen man, it doesnt matter if IPOB was founded because GEJ lost the elections or because it didnt Snow in Sokoto. What matters is if the people are ready to exit Nigeria. You think anyone asked Scotland why the want to leave Britain? There given a referendum. You think anyone asked Britain why they want to leave the European Union?

Who people want to leave an organisation is not important, what is important is that their right to leave is respected.
