Who would have believed that a lone child who stood and fought life like a lone ranger born 71 years ago to a lowly humble God fearing family could rise to prominence. Becoming the number two man in the most populous black nation in the world. By all standard, nobody would have given this destined child a chance who was born in 1946. By share luck he got educated, by hard work he rose in career. This points to a statement of fact made in our first episode that “… great men are not born but made…” one fact that excites anyone who is an ardent follower of political terrain in Nigeria is that the Name Atikus Abubakar was not god-fathered into becoming a hero in Nigerian political scene rather share hard work, integrity, patriotism and faith catapulted him to prominence.

Having paid his due in civil service sector, Atikus believe in one indivisible Nigeria, Equity, Fairness, and justice has sustained him through political thick and thin. Atikus for 20years served his fatherland faithfully, using every opportunity to showcase his leadership prowess thus placing him on the spotlight of the then political juggernauts.

Starting from the cradle, the man of the people rose to echelon of Deputy Director in Nigerian customs. He seized every opportunity to galvanize business into reality which gave him the financial muscle to effectively join politics after effective and active service with the Federal government.

The man of the time has had his own fair share of failures. He failed in marriage once, failed elections etc. Yet, his firm resolve like Abraham Lincoln of United States of America kept him going. He belive that today’s failure is a stepping stone to tomorrow’s success. Bold and fearless, this great mind and patriot contested for presidential ticket in defunct SDP contesting against the like of MKO Abiola (the money bag) and Babagana Kingibe and others. He emerged third after Abiola who went ahead to win the election and will never be a president. Thanks to fate who knew the game plan of political Maradona and late Abacha. This was the political training period for the man whom the world is yet to see his vision for Nigerian transformation.

You get fear for God and pity for Nigerians so? Atiku is grossly corrupt. We don't corruption cos it won't take us anywhere.
