Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has debunked media reports credited to him that the Presidency is still confused about who would assent to the 2017 budget even with Acting President Yemi Osinbajo in charge of the country’s affairs. Media reports had quoted the Minister as saying that the presidency is still unsure of who will assent to the budget as well as swearing-in of two Ministers-designate. However, speaking with our correspondent, the Minister denies the claim. According to him, all he said was that the issue of who will sign the budget will be addressed once the budget is sent to the presidency. “ No, I never said we are confused on who will assent to the budget.
