Trace down the history line, Lagos remains a liberated, autonomous and self sufficient entity from the inception of its creation.

Before the whole Southern Nigeria became a British protectorate in the coastal areas of modern-day Nigeria in 1900, Lagos was already a Protectorate.

A protectorate is its own state merely protected by a larger country.

Lagos was a British colonial possession which established a protectorate over most of Yorubaland between 1890 and 1897. The protectorate was incorporated into Southern Nigeria in February 1906.

It means Lagos was a separate and self existing region before its forceful almagamation into Southern Nigeria in 1906.

Now that most people are clamouring for regionalism, canvassing for geo-political zones to be federating units so as to devolve power from the centre, will Lagos State remain as it was - a seperate federating unit?

It's time for Lagos to be liberated to avoid some parasitic states in the southwest region who may deem it advantageous to feed fat on them.

Are you not tired?
All this futile mental exercise must be exhausting.
Youve gone from Biafra to regionalism to Lagosism, all by yourself.
Biko if you don't have something productive to use your brain for,go and sleep.

Sleep is underrated. I maintain that half the world's problem is caused by people turning their noses up at the better option of bed. The problem with Satan himself is a restless mind, which causes him to match to-and-fro on the earth and upanddown in it looking for and causing mischief.

Lagos and Abuja will be a federating unit for any serious restructuring to occur. The rest of SW can survive with cocoa, palm oil and Crude oil.

Exactly the point!

Lagos is buoyant enough to sustain itself as a Nation.

Two options:
Either Lagos remain as a separate federating unit or
Lagos remains as a Nation while Biafra becomes a reality.

Because Lagos alone is more viable than all Biafra's states

If there must be any regionalism, Lagos must be a separate unite.

Because we don't want Ekiti State and Osun State to feed on Lagos just like North is feeding on south south oil
