Even @ Osinbajo's age, he's old enough to father President Macron.

Our presidency needs a younger person with integrity come 2019. I mean some younger and intelligent dude like the AfDB President Dr. Akinwumi and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In France, 39 years old Macron is now the current president of France.

Acting President Osinbanjo is 60 years of age, President Buhari is officially 74 years of age ( I guess Buhari could be nearing 80 years of age )

In Zimbabwe, President Robert Mugabe, is 90 years of age.

I think African politician have a lot to learn from the experience of France who give opportunity to a youthful man.

See Buhari unable to perform as President and is sick in a London hospital all due to sickness, old age and stress on the job.

It is high time we amend the constitution and give opportunity to younger person to aspire to senior public office.

The age bracket for President and Vice President should be from 40 years - 65 years anybody above 65 years should not be allowed to contest high office like the President, Vice President etc.

People like Asiwaju Tinubu

Abubakar Atiku

Ibrahim Babangida

Sule Lamido

Are too old for public office. They do not have the strength to travel from one state to another. Buhari and Yar adua are good examples.

Yes, your grandfathers are ruling...because they are willing to run around, canvass for support, stand in the sun and rain and adress another crowd for the one-hundrteth time (90% of whom are not paying attention to their big english anyway, and are there for the kudi)...and organise, hold meetings late into the niight, and even fly from one town to the other in hours.Despite their age.

In 2003...old men Obasanjo, Buhari and Ojukwu were the three leading candidates in the election. All of them were old grandfathers.(Ojukwu self was probably a great-grandad by then) Yet...they ran around the country...canvassed for votes (Obasanjo covered several states in a week!)...and of course..they did well in the eelction of that year.

Yaradua...despite his sickness...despite having to go to hospital in the middle of campaigning...still came out and ran around canvassing for vote. Abi he no win?

Macron that you are admiring...he joined a political party at 29...made connections, did what his seniors said he should do, learned from them (he already has degrees in Political science) got the ear of the right people....and when he was ready, formed his own political party, and got to work running around, meeting people, shaking hands, giving interviews, and speech after speech.

Why won't he be President of France at 39? He has paid his dues.

You that is complaining of grandfathers....are you a member of a political party? Are you ready to humble yourself and do jobs for the big babas in the party....so that when the time come for your mainfestation...they have your back? No...na to sit on Nairaland, and complain about how your grandfathers are blocking you from getting into power.

One coach was an assistant coach for many years. All his superiors treated him like their slave. They kicked him around, ordered him around and kept on making him look like a houseboy. By the time that Assitant coach was ready to apply for Chief coach of U17 National team...guess who were his chief backers? Yes...the same oga coaches who used him as a slave....were ready to recommend him for the BIG job.

Abeg, stop complaing about grandfathers. If you want to rule Nigeria before you turn 40....go and join a political party and work hard. Buhari did not become president in a day...it took him twelve years. GEJ did not shoot up to Presidency like that...he had to undergo apprenticeship well well. Stop grumbling...and get to work!

No food for lazy man! angry

The surpossed "headquarters" of the company used by OBJ to siphoned billions of dollars on electricity during his fraudulent years was traced to an abondoned church buiding in Norway.
