And that is one of the reasons people are unsuccessful in life. He is attributing his success to God meanwhile God has nothing to do with it. When you were in school, was there a syllabus on how businesses succeed with God? Instead of people to understand that it is basically hard work and sound business decisions that guarantees success you all are here talking about fantasy. Soon they will open a business and it will fail and they'll be wondering why it failed since they've been praying every day and donating their pay to pastors.

The problem with Nigerian business "success" stories is that there are too many gaps. Blatantly unexplained gaps.

Oh Jimoh Ibrahim organised a few seminars after he graduated from the University of Ife, and then one thing led to another, and then he found himself a billionaire some years later.

Oh E-Money sold Akara in the streets of Ajegunle and then somehow he started a freight forwarding business and then somehow founded a music label and then bam, he is a billionaire.

Ifeanyi Ubah pushed wheel barrows in Nnewi and gathered some money to start a trading company and then one thing led to another and then he started Capital Oil, and bam, billions started rolling in.

Oh yes, Daniella Okeke, Ini Edo, Chika Ike and the other trifling 'actresses' like them acted in a couple of mediocre Nigerian home videos and managed to save the crumbs they were paid to invest in 'one or two' ventures, and bam, they now live the high life - with properties here and there, and drive different multi-million Naira SUVs... With plenty adoring fans tapping their inexplicable "blessings".

Here again, this boy started packaging perfumes with N30k just two years ago, and somehow or the other, through his 'dint of hard work", he now has two outlets in high streets in Lagos and Abuja, with annual turnover in millions, I guess.

Gaps. Gaps. Gaps. Too many gaps. Only in Nigeria. In civilised countries, success stories don't skip the details. The real story is in the details.

Oga tell us how you wisely reinvested your wire wire or dating proceeds in an image laundering perfume business and stop spewing bullshit inspirational cock and bull stories.

A Nigerian entrepreneur, Adewale Aladejana, who owns Sapphire scents - has shared how he started from the bottom to get to where he is (which is relatively a good place). The young man who said he started his business with 30,000 naira in 2015( 2years ago) - has met with a lot of top shots in Nigeria including former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.) and others.

Yesterday the young man launched the Sapphire scents 2 flagship stores in Lagos and Abuja.

Read his words below;

This is the day the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it. In April of 2015 Sapphire Scents started with just N30,000 today we are opening 2 showrooms in Lagos and Abuja!

I want to encourage someone today, a little spark can become a fire, a little drop can become an ocean. Believe in what God has given you, don't look down on your talent and gifts, God is a world class God and whatever He gives you is world class!

Banish small thinking! Although it's okay to start small but trust God for expansion and enlargement.

These are the things God can do and it is marvelous in our eyes, I strip myself of every confidence and I give all glory to Jesus.

People will just be lying big lie in the name of "Inspirational story", he should just say God has been good to him FULLSTOP!! Which one is "30k business" in 2015 that now has two branches in Lagos and Abuja, walahi EFCC and ICPC suppose arrest am for questioning!! Even if nah only am dey sell whatever is selling, 30k buisness cannot grow to '3 branches' in '2 years', abeg dont insult the other 'real' hustlers out there abeg........... angry angry

The danger and the disservice is that some may believe this, I personally don't, and loose hope thinking they are not successful enough with the same N30K investment.

This is one of the small business owners that I said need finanance/accounting training. I don't known how he wants me to believe.

This little information that he passed made it clear to me that he does not have background in business discipline and if he does not find help from those that do there may be a big problem that he is not giving attention now.

These are some certain things that he did not put into account

1 he failed to understand that capital of a business is not only the 30000 naira cash but also but all the family furniture, family house, your personal computer, phone, room that put into it are also your capital and they must be given monetary values so, if you add all this your capital may worth 500000 that time you started. You need consultant

2. It is not possible or almost impossible to use 30000 to start a business 2 years ago and to have grown to millions you claim except if you are behind the ponzi schemes we are seeing around, don't spoon fiend me, are you into bunkery... except along the line directly or inderectly you have injected more capital from another source. You need to understand owners equity

3. Abuja and Lagos offices are they assets or expenses? If they are expenses what is your circulating capital/capital ratio? If you know why do you think the business will be financially heathy in the nearest future? You need finacial analyst.

Well...matter how good you are in business the theory can not be denied. Those who went to university to study business related courses and those who just practice business from experince or training can be compared to mechanical engineers and mechanics
