I am a Nigerian living in Nigeria currently

My generator is on because there is no Electrical power.

I have two Alsatian Dogs for security, called the cops once for an emergency and the guy at the other end hung up on me.

10 days into a new month and i haven't been paid by the federal government.

Children sit on the floor at schools.

Top 15 oil producer in the world and a minimum wage of 58 dollars monthly

Two of our last four presidents were former presidents under Military rule.

The Federal road safety corps (FRSC) punishes drivers for various minor offences while bad roads and ancient poorly maintained trucks account for most deaths on the roads

Soooo yes Nigeria qualifies as a failed state.

The real question is WHY?
