This is a gross act of indiscipline on the part of the naval officers. Who told them they are above the law? A primary 6 holder who joins the military as a recruit expects to be treated specially even above a prof. Nonesence. Na civilian body una dey get power, BK dey there, make una go there as fight dey hungry una.

It is appalling that our security forces have become enemies to themselves instead of collaborating to fight insecurity and criminality in Nigeria. What do Nairalanders think of the ego war between Security agencies in Nigeria?

Uniform men in Nigeria have taken civilians as practice target for so long. After all, we are bloody civilians.
It time they turn their guns against each. Its Karma!!

DSS, NIA, NA, NPF etc have never prosecuted abuses against civilians. Look at the IPOPs, Shites who were slaughtered by the army.
Look at civilians, motrist killed by the police. Authorities only rush in to defend them or deny it didnt happend. Let them kill each other.

Normal in a failed failed country beyond redemption. Sleepwalking into disaster.

Ipob people do not really have to make too much noise.

No doubt that in Nigeria, water will eventually find its level.

Why should police officers intervene? Have we not seen this same police officers run the red light, even drive one way. For all I care, they finally found their match.

If they have gud education and knowledge, they won't do such thin that at the end of the day may lead to their been court-matial. If we are in a normal country, by now all of they should be behind bar now awaitin trial.

Wrong. Dont judge a book by its cover, Police men are Far more Useless this days, If i become President , i will scrap out the Nigeria Police One hand, and carve out police force from the Army itself. But before then, they must all have a taste of education, so as to not bring miscreants there. We wouldnt even go to war.
Police and SARS are far worse than even criminals we have here.

This is how useless they can be. I dont feel any remorse for them. The culture of waste!

I won't even bother with how insensitive we've become to deaths and killings by whatever means. Now you have law enforcement agents of the Federal government deliberately tearing themselves apart, destroying federal government property and stopping yet another federal agency from putting out the fire. The community that station serves if only symbolically is now laid bare; unscrupulous characters will now confidently, hitherto furtively, move in for the kill because no police is even around never mind that even if there were there'd be no guarantee.

That's how low this shïthole has sunk! What will happen? NOTHING! No accountability, no sense of responsibility or liability, no sanction or punishment, just unbridled impunity!

Very intelligent write up. God bless you

These guys sound like state sponsored gang members. Who the commanding officers are need to be replaced. There's too much indiscipline with these guys. I wonder what's the criteria for hiring these guys.

A simple traffic stop that gets you a mere ticket. You turn it into huge ordeal. Now these guys face charges of assault, arson, destruction of government property, traffic violation etc.

Face what charges? Where? Ticket kwa? Are we talking about the same country shocked
