How NpowerNG Pre-loads Device Tablets with Learning Materials for Volunteers
Introduction:
Every device set-up pre-loaded with contents and these contents can be accessed through the N-Power App. And these contents can also be accessible offline.
These devices are also loaded with productivity tools just for the volunteers.
During the loading of the device, the device tested through the quality assurance and then mapped to a specific volunteer in a specific programme, in a specific location.
In this stage, you can see an official scanning a device for a particular volunteer, which may be you based on the device you select and the programme you enrolled for.
In quality assurance, you never be too careful, we scan the devices again, and tag each device by writing the name of the volunteer on the device and the volunteer’s ID on the device.
Verification of the devices
In the verification stage, the officials go through the NpowerNG App, and go through all the contents to make sure that installed apps are working properly.
They also check the profiles to ensure that device match with the name tag to ensure that it’s yours.
*Packaging of N-power Tablet Devices*
In this final stage, the device is packaged with a SIM card inside and the information brochure.
The information brochure carries every information you need to know about your device.
After this, the devices are sealed with Quality Assurance to make sure that the next person who opens the device is you.

The N-power App gives every volunteer access to resources for improving your skills on the job.
Contents are broadly classified into three modules:
*Prepare*
This module, as the name implies, prepares the volunteer for their role in the programme.
Here, you find learning materials to prepare you based on the programme you selected to volunteer in.
For N-Teach Volunteers, you get to take training and assessment on teaching, and qualities of a teacher, managing the classroom and learning, how to write lesson notes, and so much more
For N-Agro Volunteers, have access to various resources to aid your work on the field, training on crop production, livestock farming, climate smart agriculture, and many more.
Through the App, you gain access to classroom scenario videos for each subject. You also gain access to text books and work books from primary one to primary six for the N-Teach Volunteers.
For the N-Agro volunteers, you have robots manures that’d enable you deliver on your role as the next generation food provider.
*Learn*
In this module, every N-power volunteer gain access to improve their employability, and entrepreneurial skills.
The topics are well curetted for you based on categories such as:
digital marketing,
programming,
communication,
entrepreneurship, leadership, management, and much more.

*Installation Process*
During every installation process, we need to take attempt to make sure all Apps are well installed, all APK are properly transferred to proper Apps,and all programmes are well installed on designated volunteer so that we don’t make mistake in doing this.
Every single device is tagged to a single volunteer, so we need to take our time to verify, check and make sure that all Apps are working properly. So that it won’t get to the volunteer and start misbehaving.
As the supervisor, I make sure I verify every application on a single tab. Because every single Tab represents a single volunteer, which they need to use in carrying out their daily activities for this N-power Programme.
As we achieve the quality you desire, we’re packaging all devices for shipping and every volunteer would definitely be contacted on where, when to pick up their device for the next step.

For the 2016 batch of N-power applicants who selected Samsung Tab E 9.6 as their preferred device, it’d be recalled that some support centres were published alongside the specs of the devices during selection; unfortunately some people misinterpreted the N-power device support centres for collection centres.

  Please note that the two are different.

Difference between N-power device collection centre N-power Device Support Centres

While N-power Device Collections centres are designated places in your state to pick up chosen tablets, N-power Device Support centres are the central location to maintain your device whenever the need arises till your appointment with the job initiative programme terminates.

 


Distribution and collection of Samsun Tab E and other devices have commenced in some states across Nigeria. The engineers have done their best to make the gadget work perfectly well, but anything machine could be funny

Backlog Payments? Complaint Message Format to get paid
Since the Federal Government commenced N-Power Volunteer Payment December 2016, it’s unfortunate that some beneficiaries are yet get a penny.

Majority of the affected volunteers didn’t follow the instructions during application and during updating of NPVN Portal.

We’re not here put blames on anyone; the major thing is to proffer solution to your unpaid status.

Solution N-power NG Non-payment of Stipend
To solve the problem of non-payment, do this, follow the format below:

Title: Non-Payment (You may state the months you’ve not paid, or leave it as Non-payment if you’re yet to be paid since commencement of the programme which officially took off December, 2017).
Full Names (First name, middle name, and last name)
Email:
Account details: (this includes your account name, account number, and bank name)
Bank Verification Number (BVN):
Place of Primary Assignment (PPA):
State/LGA:
House Address: (make sure you submit the same address you provided during registration process)
Phone Number: (make sure it is the same phone number you used during application process)

State the specific month you’ve not been paid if you’ve got one or two, but let it non-payment if you’ve not got any.

Then ensure to scan any of your valid Identity Card: Voter’s Card, National ID, International passport, BVN plate (Card).

Your Account Details with BVN printed from the bank.

If you’re married, and you’ve changed your name, make sure you scan evidence of change of name.

Some of the reasons why you’ve not been paid are:
1) Wrong account details
2) Correct account number, but wrong BVN
3) INCONSISTENCY in npower registered name and bank account details.
4) Married women who changed names due to marital status.

If you fall under any of the above, then head straight to a nearby cafe.

What not to do when sending complaints to Npower
Don’t crowd your message with unnecessary words. Go straight to your point and make your message simple, brief, concise as much as possible.

Npower 2017 Pre-selection Stage Update
N-power 2017 registration was unique in a lot of ways. One of the ways was the release of the application, registration process and guidelines to follow.

In the next line of the application process is NpowerNG Pre selection. This is what some of the 2017 applicants call Pre-selection list.

Preceding the pre selection stage are: application, BVN verification, test, and device selection. In one of our posts, we faulted the stages; however N-power has the final say over how it’s going to implement the application process so as not avoid some of the numerous errors and complications some of the 2016 applicants caused.

What is NpowerNG Pre Selection?
N-power 2017 pre selection is the stage where the team in Abuja uses some criteria shortlist applicants to ensure it reflects the federal character. This stage needs utmost care and analysis because this is the stage N-power team also uses the information you submitted during application into consideration.
