To all of you blaming Nnamdi Kanu for the recent events in Nigeria, you all are using him as a scapegoat.

Did you think that the Igbos born after the war would continue to take the injustice they see daily in silence?

There are many more Igbos now who were born after Biafra than those who seen it. And this number will continue to grow.

Nnamdi Kanu is just a mere vessel of the rage that many young Igbo feel towards Nigeria.

Buhari didn't help improve the matter when he labeled the East as 5% instead of uniting rhe country. And by unjustly imprisoning Kanu for almost 2 years, he made him into a hero.

And let us not forget the innocent Igbos who were killed during peaceful protests. Some were gunned down in the most holiest of place, a church. Did you really think the wider Igbo were going to clap their hands at that massacre?

Nnamdi Kanu is being used as a diplomatic tool and symbol for Biafran agitation. If Nigerian government makes the mistake of harming him, IPOB will fundamentally change its strategy to a very violent group. The world will not even feel bad for Nigeria because they know how things played out since IPOB is making foreign nations aware.

That's is why Nigerian government hasn't killed Nnamdi Kanu and he will continue to be a thorn in Their flesh.

The biggest defeat Nigeria government can give to IPOB is to fundamentally restructure the country with respect to true/ fiscal federalism, regional autonomy and resource control.

If they do this, IPOB organization will lose members rapidly and cease to exist within a year.

He is one of the causes. I never bought this Igbo marginalisation, not with our States system, not with the size of the Igbo population. You can't manupulte history easily these days, his words and actions are online for all to see. By the way, it would be helpful to separate Igbo the people from IPOB and Biafra. Attack the movement all you want, try not to insult the people.

The igbos suddenly realized they were being marginalized in 2015, it was may 2015 that they realized they needed seaports and a international airport

Nnamdi Kanu was until recently an advocate for a peaceful and united Nigeria.
His grouse with Nigeria is not unconnected with Jonathan's loss at the polls. Why was he especially bitter against Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani and not the Nigerian state.
