Anytime Fulani herdsmen attack and kill people and slaughter communities, many Nigerians online start screaming that it's time to restructure this country.

BUT

How does restructuring Nigeria stop the killings of Fulani herdsmen?

Regional police to kill them

Isn't it obvious that there would be regional, state and even local Government police? In true federalism the lord of the region that overseas his Governors in several states has the power to decide and take care of the problems, the federal Government would take care of visas and international relations but the regions are free.
Mini countries in a country.

So you are saying that the restructed constitution will empower regional police to kill Fulani herdsmen?

1)Why would Hausa-Fulani even agree to that?

2) And wouldn't that lead to the breakup that the restructuring is trying to avoid because Fulanis will come back for revenge?

So in other words, you are saying that restructuring will create federal, regional, state and local police forces? Yes or no

Will the restructed constitution limit the movement of Fulani heardsman? Because if it doesn't no one have the legal right to kill them.

Each state or region would have its own police force. That way they wouldn't wait for orders from abuja before securing lives and properties against herdmen or whomever.

Yes of course, that's my idea.
Criminals who commit crime in other countries are dealt with by the law, in thesame way the Fulani herdsmen are no different. They would be dealt with by the law. These are things the 8 or 12 regional lords can gather to discuss in Abuja every month before the president.
