Dogara is very right in developed countries u never see soldiers near civilians.police should be restructured so dat they will be discharging der duties appropriately. for us to move forward we must start cultivating d right attitude toward every thing.not politicizing everything. what dogara said is he right or wrong constitutionally that's what we should b aftet

Ppl dont really understand what is going on. The incessant calls for separation which many fools are hailing now will only bring in the military . The politicians are using "breaking the nation" up propaganda to heat up the polity. And once it reaches a stage,the military will step in to preserve the nation. From all indications buhari is already gone but the north doesn't want a southerners in as president. Once The military steps in they will conduct another round of elections. This may be their plans.

Don't mind that guy. Some Army checkpoints are now used as landmark features for directing people. You will hear direction like "after the army checking point in okuokoko", "bethel street after army checking point Osubi"

Nigerians don't know that d mess we are in is caused by the governors and these useless national assembly but blame PMB. What has Dogara done with the millions they get for his constituency? Yet they receive millions as allowances. What laws has he enacted to ensure that the mess caused by corruption and mindless looting of our collective wealth is averted? Rather than make laws to call to account those who stole our wealth face life or death sentence they are busy granting amnesty to them. Why blame FG as if they are not an arm of FG? Do they not get funds for projects? Of course our lawmakers are rogues and thieves many of whom were ex governors that heartlessly looted state treasuries and plunged their states into debt and owe workers salaries which they wud blame Buhari for.
Look at d useless Ben Bruce with his common sense rants what has he done to help d constituents? How can u run a country with so much spent to run govt and leave little for capital project some of which wud still be embezzled and some projects uncompleted. Nigerians wake up and see Nigeria has no future. It is a waste of space on d map

You are right in your expectation but let us be honest, Nigeria is NOT a developed Country yet!

Secondly, if you appreciate the kind of criminals we have in our own NASS, you will understand that Dogarra is not speaking from a position of "Constitutionality", but from his bent mouth of playing politics.

It is an irony that the heightened level of Insecurity we experience, is foisted on the Nation by these same thieving Politicians like Dogarra and these looting Politicians like Dogarra have done nothing over the years to improve the level of Police and policing that would enable us keep the soldiers permanently in the barracks.

Dogarra deserves to be flogged, for polutting the public space with his asinine rant
