I am about using the eship service. The DHL option costs about 124usd while FedEx costs about 68usd and ups is somewhere around 98usd. do you think they all give the same service because I am about going for the cheapest. Thank you.

FedEx delivery takes 4-5 business days.
My I-20 was sent through FedEx on Tuesday last week and it will be delivered tomorrow according to the tracking information.

the school is good I also apply for masters in MBA with concentration in economics for spring 2018 admission letters just out on Friday.

Thanks, but I trying to decide between Tamuc and UGA( university of Georgia, Athens) cos Tamuc needs both Toefl and Gre while UGA needs only Gre, Toefl is not needed for Nigerian students and UGA has better rating for Agriculture compared to Tamuc but I'm yet to make up my mind

Good evening all, i am a newbie here and i would like a little help/advise. my I-20 was just emailed to me last week but the hard copy would be received this week. School starts 1st week in Jan 2018, is it possible to get an interview date within this short period of time?, please i will like to know if anyone has had this type of experience and share tips. Thank you.
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by NiklausAkins(m): 9:16pm On Nov 19, 2017
This is my exact problem. I have not gotten my I 20 yet gan.. am gonna get it this week...
I was told to go ahead.. and then after getting a date for ur interview, if it's not okay with you, you ask for an emergency interview, where you'll send them a copy of ur I-20 to show the urgency.

Although I feel instructions on how to go about the whole visa thing will be in that i20 packet.

Well, from what I gathered I think we can start filling it, and make arrangements to pay our SEVIS fee. So once the document comes..it'll be easy to book appointment. Can we talk on whatsapp.. I need to ask some stuffs

Hello house, I had my undergraduate degree about twenty years ago and didn't bother going back to school, but now I want to go back for my masters, do I stand a chance of getting a study visa? My bachelors degree was Bachelor of Agriculture and now I want to go for MS in Agronomy or Crop and Soil science all Agriculture fields, but I'm a business lady, running my own business, please house what do you think? I've also worked in some administrative roles in the past, should I go for MBA instead? But I really prefer Agriculture

you have a lot of time just start your visa process now since you have your i-20 details then schedule your interview 2 weeks from the expected date of original i-20 arrival incase it doesn't show this week smiley

I feel it may be a good idea to go for an MBA given your current nature of the job, and your experiences, which tallies with a business degree. unless you're working in an agricultural field? then the agronomy can also be good.

well ma'am , the question most likely to come from our jolly good visaofficer is "Why aren't you considering Nigerian schools", the chief reason being that your foray back into education has little to do with career advancement or specialised knowledge , and since you're a business woman with an active business with X cash turnover, it becomes even more trouble to explain to the VO why you want to dump your means of livelihood for a degree after 2 decades. Your case isn't impossible, but it has too much immigrant intent flying out of it; so you're going to need a super convincing back story here.

You finished your bachelor's 20 years and you obviously haven't used it at all with respect to a career... so why should the VO believe that you really want to spend 2 years in an Agronomy masters program for career advancement? An MBA is better, even at that... you might find it difficult convincing them why an MBA is now useful to you after 20 years.
