Nigeria is only a country where credential is much valued than potential.

When you can prove your potential, it will be valued.

It's the curse of Africa!
There's nothing we can do about. Prayer is the worst option. #StopDeceivingYourselves

There is no such thing as the curse of Africa.
We deserve what we have because we love the status quo.

River Niger is even yet to start. China executes corrupt people, Nigeria worshipd them and they occupy leadership position. China built their own satelites by their own engineers and launched from its own soil, Nigeria was celebrating a satellite not made by its engineers and launched from abroad. China has just developed their own commercial jetliner giving Boeing a run for their money while Nigeria was celebrating a wooden car with Keke engine made by India.
China gives aids and loans to other countries but Nigeria still begs for loans.
Nigeria is truly cursed and a waste of space on d map.

Quit ranting on every thread, it won't improve your condition,
spend more time to think on how to make your life better.

I weep for Nigeria....but we all know that China is a communist Capitalist socialist nation where corruption is a crime with death sentence...we all applaud their developmental strides but are we ready to pay the price??
don't we come here and hail corrupt politicians from the same tribe, community, religion or ethic settings?
lots of questions needs answers but what do we have here..

Nigerians are not ready for good governance, you can see many people
wanting to learn Chinese on these thread while some want to migrate
to China, the reaction for a people who really want change is not to run from
the problems or laments, but seek for a way forward.
We love the status quo.

Who are we now going to follow? The bad leaders?
what I am saying in essence is that we must build the quality of our followership. Check all the leaders we have in this country. U will discover one thing in common with them. When a follower was once a lootet where he or she was working before becoming a leader, the looting continues even after becoming a leader. The level of corruption in this country is far higher in the followers, the only difference is that all attention turns to the leadership.

I have been saying this "China should be world power"

They've always been since the old ages when the military campaigns by their barbarian neighbours then the great Ghengis Khan forced them to build parts of the Great Wall.... the only man made object visible from space (apart from pollution). Communism put them in the shadows for a while but since the 70's they've returned with a bang. They have always been mega builders. Check out the Imperial palace. Nothing close to that on earth. Just magnificent.

Just because you got free MB doesn't warrant your obsessive vitriolic anger against the country.
At the bold, yes, I have made my life better and have continued to improve my condition,
I did that by focusing on myself and didn't waste time and energy lamenting that "Nigeriadondie".

Well I am not an exception and it is for that reason I left that space. What saddens me is that I see d country from a very different perspective from my new space. It is so disappoining in all respect.

There is nothing wrong with pointing out the problems in the country,
but I regard generic attack on the country as personal attack on the citizens
themselves akin to tagging us all as irredeemable failures,
after all it is people that makes a country not land.

Pls dont feel offended. My comments are not an attack on fellow country men who re victims of misrule of a few. I respect them a lot and without insults have my sympathy. My attack is at d useless elite who unfortunately dont bear d brunt of d mess they created.
Respect to the good country men, women and children of that country not to d evil ruling class and d bad followers.
Admittedly d misrule of d few have shaped d destiny of d majority for bad and it is d reason it will never go well with the elite. If they escape judgment by man never from God.
We dont need so much to live well and there is so much to satisfy every man's need but never their greed. I feel so sad that Nigeria will never be better for its citizens to live a befitting life they all deserve not even now not even in d future.

Bro d people running are not in a position to effect a change. What can d common man on d street not sure of d next meal do to effect a change when those in power with all d resources at their disposal wud never do anything? They are left with no options but to go out. Look at how many Africans or Nigerians risk their lives to cross d Meditarranean Sea yet the animalistic leaders won't sit down to think for once what is it we are not doing right to stop it. If all is well, who wants to travel out. Is it fun to be away from family members and close friends many u knew from childhood?
Even Nigerians in d diaspora who wish to come back home to invest or make some contributions are fustrated that even others who wish to do same are discouraged.

You called China small landmass? If you don't know multiply Nigeria's landmass by six is not up to the landmass of China. Nigeria's landmass is just like a province in China. In other-words, China's landmass is over 7 times bigger than Nigeria's landmass.
