"Yes sir, they just rushed him to the hospital," she replied

"It's time for drama, we'll Play along with him, he will be shocked at what awaits him"Mr Ufomba told his wife

They set out to carry out their plan in order to catch him red handed.

******* "Hello, Gabriel, i don't know what happened to your brother, please hurry to St Andrews Hospital" Mrs Ufomba cried over the phone

"Ok, i will be right there" The phone went dead and he laughed wickedly

"Finally, i have accomplished my mission"

He dressed up and hurried to the hospital



************ He rushed inside the hospital and met his sister in law crying,

"Where's my brother?" he asked

"The doctors are with him"

"I need to see him before they take him to the mortuary"

"Mortuary?, but he's not yet dead, the doctors were able to flush out the poison from his system

" What??!! "he screamed

"he's alive"

"I need to see him" he said walking towards the ward

"Where's his room?"

"Room 32, i cant go in with you"

He walked down the corridor and saw room 32 written on the door,he pushed the door open and was thankful as there was no one in the room,

"I'll finish you up right now,"

He took the pillow and covered his face with it, he tried to strangle him with the pillow, but his brother seized it from him, they started dragging for the pillow, as they were doing that, the door opened and two police men , Mrs Ufomba and Anthony walked into the room.

"Mr Gabriel you're under arrest for attempted murder of half brother, Mr Ufomba" One of the police officers said

He froze in shock, he dropped the pillow on the floor and surrendered with his hands in the air

They handcuffed him, then mr Ufomba stood up From the bed, he revealed to his brother how they caught his secretary and how they planned his fake admission in the hospital,Gabriel stilled with mouth agape.

The police took him out of the hospital, and drove him to the station, Mrs Ufomba hugged her husband and thanked God for saving his life. They returned home and told their children what transpired in the office.

TWO MONTHS LATER

******* Debbie closed her eyes and tears fell down from them, she looked at her test result again and heaved a sigh

"God, this is not the right for me to be pregnant, please help me" she said to herself
