This thread should not be seen as a means of begging for funds but to let the owner of nairaland to know that now is the right time for him to show support for the sporting section of this forum and see reason why he needs to sponsor this season's FPL.

From my knowledge about nairaland, the fantasy league is as old as nairaland itself as far back as 2007 or there about and yet we dont have any support from the owner of this forum.

The just concluded season of fpl is infact the biggest ever in terms of participation and follow up, we have close to 500 members competing for a common price.

The numbers will definitely increase this season. Which is a more reason why seun must show his support to us as a way of appreciating the sporting section.

Reasons why we want sponsorshop;

1. Fpl is a long term game that involves time, money, thinking, strategies etc. Unlike other programs sponsor by seun like mr nairaland and miss nairaland that bare last up to 2 months, fpl is a long term seasonal game that stretch close to 10 months almost a year.

2. Fpl encompasses sport lovers from different phase of life and people of different race. For instance some of our compatriots are base in uk, america, asia etc. It is a game that bonds us together therby creating a unity factor among us.

3. Like i said earlier, we are not begging for funds but to get seun involve in suporting the fpl for the first time in the history of nairaland. Participants here are workers, students, corpers both married and singles with a means of livelihood but sponsoring fpl will actually show you really appreciate us here in the sporting section. Just like other programs that have reward packages for its winners fpl too deserve such treatment and as such seun involvement will be something we will greatly appreciate.

Fpl is just a month away before kick off, alas, creation and selection of teams begin in a week or 2 weeks time.

Sir, oluwaseun osewa, we hope our request is granted, your benevolence! With sumptous reward for each categories broken down as you may wish.

Thank you so much as we anticipate your support this season.

Yours faithfully

Sponsor what exactly. Fpl is meant to be a game and nothing more and should be played only for the love of the game and football. Seun Pls ignore this thread.

Nice...
but you need to make a proposal if you want to attract his sponsorship. What are your proposed payout system? First prize? Consolation prices? How much are you looking at? What is in it for him? These are things you need to spell out so that at a glance, he can make his decision. Try to sell the idea to him and not force it down his throat. He is not indebted to us but it would be nice he shows interest.

thank you mazi. You are actually right. Seun osewa is not obligated to any of us here. We wish to apologise if our tone sounded harsh and pressing to him.

When you said proposal, we didnt thought of it that way. Moreover we assumed he would discuss the issue with mukina2, one of his moderators, and they could decide things for us as it suits them.

Giving him details on how each price will be shared will not be nice for we to do. Its not our funds actually, and its a sign of respect for him to do it himself, having receive counsel from mukina2 herself.

What will be his gain? More tranfic to the sports section more than ever before. Its like we asking what benefit are the mr or mrs nairaland to him.

This is more realistic than those events.

I only thought of this, i may not necessary benefit from it. Coming from someone thats selfless and have the people at heart.
