This civil defence is very useless, if I was the president I would withdraw the police from banks and install civil defence their. Because they act like common security guards. wink

the society we are., is a reflection of the type of leaders we have same with our security men...in d USA how many police officers carry guns....because when the citizens are asked to do certain things they obey....it is here in Nigeria u will ask pepple not throw refuse on d way yet motorists will be hell bent on throwing papers here and there

why should the speed limit be ban.? who will it help.?

it is the same Nigerians that cry foul when accident occurs yet they don't want to do the right thing

If speed limiting device was that important it would have come factory fitted. For commercial vehicles traveling interstate? Yes but wait and see how FRSC will insist that you install speed limit for a vehicle you drive on your street.

Too much of regulation is counter productive.
Americans use speed detectors rather than have everybody install a speed limiter. So what happens in situations where you need to accelerate to get away from danger.

Not a well thought out policy. FRSC thinks they can buy government favour by converting themselves to a revenue generation agency rather than being a government services agency. They even insisted to be the sole distributors initially!

Ambode took the right decision by ordering FRSC and VIO to vacate all Lagos state roads. Maybe other states need to follow suit.

yes....I agree with all ur points....the transporters should have stop work and result to protest either to governors office or to the right channel rather than burning FRSC vehecle.. . whose money will FRSC use to purchase another vehecle.? it ur money and my money(tax money or our common wealth...crude oil) ...so who is at lost.. FRSC or d country.?
