But these Frsc men are over zealous, how on earth will the stop Police escorted vehicle & order them to put seat belt
The deserve what they got.
Police men that are working with hunger & annoyance these days.
Is a fool that challanges an armed man
So the law is only meant for some people and not everyone?

Nice questions you raised. But I think you also answered them. You said overseas when one hears...you stop. So why is that we do not like to stop. Now to the issue of smashing glass. I hope you noticed that that was a last resort to open the door of that car. And if you were keen enough, you will realise that the lady in that car was only trying to apply the parking gear of the car to stop it. But your brothers were keen on driving away with her...for what? It showed lack of respect for her job and everything else. You know, sometimes I wish law Officers in this country can just go on break so you guys can enjoy your lawlessness.
l@ first bolded, I told you many are frustrated. Thats something the safety officials should understand. There are so many wrong things. We have a mind problem. If a FRSC means we'll, why would he force a car to stop? Ask yourself. We are talking safety here. In your experience, do you stop an unsafe act by being violent. Thats my point. The FRSC officials are not doing their job. They are there to collect bribes... Thats all. This is why they are always attacked. If they have a good record of doing the right thing, they would have been respected.

I will advise that FRSC not be too strict with Nigerians for now. This is because of the tension and stress experienced in this country due to economic conditions of this nation. But Nigerians should be safety conscious at all times

...Yes if you do not know.
The refused to apply discretion while carring out their duties.
If a police man bearing Ak 47 with live ammunition put on seat belt & attack happens, he will first of all remove the belt before defending himself & the Vip

Bribe you said?

Why would you have to bribe a law enforcement officer if you're law compliance?

With a valid driver's license, valid vehicle particulars, updated vehicle road worthiness etc, I bet you've got no reason to be afraid.

I've never given a bribe to any traffic law enforcement officer except when I violate traffic rules either intentionally or ignorantly which I do with remorse

Hmmm...i can see you are relatively grounded in protective operation. And I can also notice the sympathy or should I say, empathy for the police. But then I wonder where you were taught that putting on a seat belt inhibits your efficiency. I would rather think that it is just a flimsy excuse to be lawless. Oh... Point of correction, the law is meant for everyone.

The FRSC boss is only acting based on the reports submitted on his table, the reports was fabricated and smoothed to favour colleagues in Red caps. The boss as a leader shouldn't have listened only to his boys to deliver his speech as this may further provoke road users since me and u know what we are facing in d hands of these road fraudsters.

Yet the FRSC boss is quiet over the near fatal accident his untrained staff nearly caused in Lagos recently while struggling with a driver on steering and another uncouth officer broke the side glass! I condemn the shooting of their personnel, but a lot of FRSC officers are lazy, greedy, unruly and disgraceful!!

....In theory, everybody is equal b/4 the law but in practice not.
In nigeria context, Laws can be define as rules & regulations made by the superior for the inferior to obey.
Thats by the way, the frsc men like I said earlier made a mistake, in military & paramilitry, everybody is accord respect in the spirit of esperi de cop.
The police men are on their lawful duties & the frsc men too, so the issue of no sit belt sould not have arised
Meanwhile, I comdem the action of the police men, the did not manage their temperament well.
The action did not warrant shooting rather dirty slap.

shocked

FRSC officials are mostly overzealous.
They deserve what they're getting.

They should never be given arms.

They were silly to challenge men carrying guns.

We all know the Hero Worship system in Nigeria where police accompanied convoys drive anyhow.

The corp officers just risked their lives with a politician. If they had died, Abia will protect their speaker.

Its stupidity.
