Osun state government has acknowledged the receipt of a sum of N6.314 billion from the second tranche of the Paris Club refunds.

This is contained in a statement released to Amiloaded.com by the director, Bureau of communication and strategy, office of the governor, Semiu Okanlawon.

Government of Osun wishes to announce that it has received the second tranche of the Paris Club refunds.

The refunds, totaling N6.314bn, was paid into the state coffers on Monday July 17, 2017.

In line with our government’s promise to utilize the resources of this state in the best interest of our people, we hereby restate our commitment to this promise as we begin shortly transparent deployment on our commitments to the concerned stakeholders.

Why is Osun getting way more money than Ekiti...? 2billion more than Ekiti, a state with the second highest number of civil servants..WHY ?

I was in Osogbo at the weekend via Lagos Ibadan ExpressWay/ Gbogan / OdeOmu. Afterwards to Okuku.

I must say that the Osogbo town is a really nice place to live going by the numerous transformation that has taken place. Beautiful infrastructures and many roads that were dualized and others.

I am pretty sure that this refund would go a long way to further beautify the ancient city
