So painful. The man died . he was a good man. He is a rewire in Ikere ekiti. Oladele! The man was too good on the job . He is so honest .He will never charge you arbitrarily. He was the first onise owo that surprises me. One day, i paid him N4000 for a job he did on my car ,could you believe he returned N3000 back to me saying that what he did on my car doesn't require him taking the excess . Oladele ,may God be with the family you left behind. Adieu brother !

They were not couples, they were neighbours, moreso, it happened around 8am in the morning not when they're coming from work, the men were going to buy car parts and the women, to the market... It happened in my street...the car was over speeding, he was trying to avoid a bikeman and he ran under an alreay-parked truck... So painful. A man survived out of five cry....RIP to the dead....

More details... This is why I was angry why my brother traveled to the east in a Toyota Avensis.

maybe just maybe, but I heard he was avoiding a bike man who rode against traffic, the truck was stationary by the road side......but the fact is, it was caused by human error as rightly said.

RIP to the unfortunate road users.

Road conditions and human error could be a factor in this accident, but this should be a lesson to the rest of us to be aware of other users and use defensive driving always unassuming worst case scenario.

I have heard of people driving at speeds I won't attempt on the best roads in America in good cars. Please all should consider those who love us

Hmmm.... so what car do you advise one to travel by when going to the east?....one that would not result in loss of life if involved in such an accident?
@ topic.... I was hoping for details on the cause of the accident... brake failure?....some kind mechanical failure? ...as a kazeem was he using a customer's car that he was not finished fixing? ....or was it the truck with mechanical problems? Seems like safety is not a priority.

Leave the avensis matter. If you read through you will see the comments of persons who live around the area of the incident.

Thanks...just did....wasn't paying attention to the quotes..so now wondering why the quotes be there and not the original comments. So the bike guy is the real cause of the accident and deaths.... guess he rode along his merry way.... his nights should be haunted.

Well, I blame not the bike man but the car driver.

You should always drive at speeds that you are still in control.

This is why you can still get a speeding ticket when doing 45 in a 65mph zone because of road condition.

When I drive in Nigeria, I just simply get out of their ways so they can go and meet up with their destinies. In a country with no emergency road side accident support (except Lagos I guess), piss poor emergency hospital, the citizens that drive recklessly takes on a demonic risk.
