One of the measures undertaken by the Nigerian government to further engage the youths in the conduct of political affairs is the recent adoption of the NotTooYoungToRun Bill. The Bill proposes 35 as the minimum age for the office of the President as well as the Senate; and 25 years for the House of Representatives (on the basis of studies).
Definitely, kudos to the government and the national assembly for passing the Bill.

However, the nitty-gritty ascends and states that;
Are the youths set to forge ahead with their plans and make Nigeria an exceptional nation?
In recent times, predominant issues such as Kidnappings, Armed robberies have appeared to be primus inter pares i.e first among equals and wholly we ask ourselves: Who are the perpetrators?
And we swiftly say: 'young individuals in the society!'.
Hence, what exactly are we preaching?!
They say 'preach what you practice'. Essentially, let's practice what's acceptable and preach what's right so we don't jeopardize the aspirations of right thinking individuals.

Absolutely, sycophants and hooligans have to put a stop to their modus operandi and make Nigeria worthy of being remarked for extraordinary potentialities.

God Bless Nigeria.
