The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday lashed out at the immediate past administration of Goodluck Jonathan over the failure to pay release Paris Club refund to state governors.
Osinbajo said the Jonathan’s administration was earning over 100 dollars on a barrel of oil and yet failed to pay Paris Club refunds.

Speaking in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Osinbajo said the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is doing everything, despite the fact that it is earning 60 percent less revenue.
In a statement on the Presidency’s twitter handle, @NGRPresident, Osinbajo said, “A previous Admin, earning $100/bbl, did not pay Paris Club Refunds, or Cash Calls. This Govt, earning 60% less revenue, is doing everything.

“We’ve introduced Transparency to the management of the Federation Account, ensuring that all monies due are remitted
“PMB has always insisted that Federation Account must be transparent, and all books open. I’m sure the Govs agree we’ve done our best.
“We’re doing everything to support all States, regardless of party: Budget Support, Paris Club Refunds, Clearing debts owed them
“The future belongs to the progressive tendencies in our polity. Our victory in the 2015 elections was not a fluke.

“Our people understand that the task of clearing decades of debris will take time. But we must also keep faith with them, and deliver.”

You have spoken the truth and for that truth you will remain blessed, even though you are already blessed.

Potor idiots whose allergy to truth has never been equalled are definitely coming for you.

I don't understand why you guys keep seeing the truth as blame game. Did Jonathan pay the Paris club refund to states despite oil selling at over $100 throughout his tenure? Is Buhari not paying despite crude oil selling at an average of $40 since he took over?

We should apportion blame where necessary and issue commendation when appropriate. States have never received the kind of support that they are getting from the current president from any previous ones.

Under Obasanjo and Jonathan, States are always at loggerheads with the federal government over the management of federation and excess crude account but now, no state governor is complaining. For once since 1999, we are seeing a very honest and transparent management of our oil earnings and the federation account.

Oh I see! What about the sum of $21.7b NNPC failed to remmit to the Consolidated Revenue Account? What do we call the over £1000 been wasted daily on an idle plane in London? Osinbajo should stop rubbing his pastoral calling in the mud.
