To get an internet speed meter to show you net speed, follow the steps below.
The Android app we will use for this tutorial is the Internet Speed Meter Lite. There are other apps out there though.

1. Download the Internet Speed Meter Lite app

2. After downloading and installing the internet speed meter, open it and tap on the ‘three-dots‘ you'll see on the top-right side of the app and then choose ‘Preferences.

3) Select the checkbox you will see against the ‘Show Up/Down Speed‘ in order to be able to see Internet speed in your Android phones notification bar.

With the internet speed meter app, you can see the Internet speed of your mobile data and also that of your Wi-Fi connection. The app will also show you your daily consumption of Internet through mobile data and even your Wi-Fi connection.
