Is it stipulated in the work constitution that the manager calls the businessman while on vacation? Is there a stipulated time frame as stated in the constitution that the manager can stay away as regards to his vacation? Has the assistant manager being unable to perform his duties while the manager is away? Rules are rules, as long as the manager has not broken any of the businessman's work rules, he has done nothing wrong. If you don't like what the manager is doing, change the rules. Clever by half. The question is straight forward. If you are the owner of the establishment and this occured. What will you do. I won't give a personal answer to this as my staff is fully aware I donot tolerate nonsense whatsoever but your standards for life and living may be different.
