Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State on Monday decried the “deception” of Igbo by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, through the bid for the actualisation of a Biafran state.

Speaking while presenting staff of office and certificate of recognition to traditional rulers, he lamented the silence of traditional rulers, pastors and leaders in the region in the face of Kanu’s dangerous agenda.

Okorocha pointed out that the Biafra civil war was preceded by events such as the ones being championed by Kanu.
