Good morning house. I am a new reader on this page. I have some questions to ask.

Please my husband has HND Accounting upper credit and he is also chartered .ICAN . He is currently a finance manager in a good company. An immigration consultant told us that HND accounting is not qualified even plus his ICAN because an accountant is a professional job and must be BSC.

Don't know if this is correct would appreciate if someone in the house can respond.

Thanks

This BC's monopoly has to stop.

I smiled most during the Listening section only to get a 6.5. I can remember gambling with ONLY TWO QUESTIONS each from sections 2&4. So I was expecting nothing less than 8/8.5

Current CRS stands at 348 without my wife's ECA and IELTS though. Including the latter, scores would be 376. Still very low...

Consultant bawo... Evaluate OND and HND, the combo is acceptable and its migration points are even higher than that of B.Sc Accounting. Both should do d evaluation and IELTS GT. I can't tell u to read any page!

Please @mamacajah get into the pool asap if you have completed your ECA. For every birthday after the age of 35 you will lose 5 CRS points. I personally experienced this (no thanks to IQAS). The new tie-break rule also gives applicants who have stayed longer in the pool an early mover's advantage.

One of the reasons I'll suggest people to carefully explore all their options before requesting an EOR. Each individual's personal circumstances differs. [s]Once you are in the pool your age is frozen even if you didn't receive an ITA before your birthday.[/s]

Update/Correction:
- For every birthday once you reach the age of 30 you will lose 5 CRS points
- Once you receive an ITA your age is frozen even if you didn't submit/get AOR before your birthday.

My result is out...Which way to go people? Should I risk a remark or prepare for Jan 2018?

Listening: 8.0
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 7.5

I am in shock at the writting as I did not finish at all. It is well.

My birthday is next month. Can I use this to enter the pool before doing the next exam or just wait till I get a better result and then enter the pool? Pls your advise guys!

I have bpharm certificate here in Nigeria and wanna practice there. Is it possible cause there's been restrictions for bpharm holders in some countries.
Also, can i get scholarships to run my msc in pharmaceutical microbiology there, and what's the employment chance and pay scale for pharmacists.thanks.

Thanks. It's actually looks better @419 if calculated the other way round but the problem is wifey is currently (3rd trimester) with child, hence can't go through the rigour of preparing for the exams at least not until delivery plus child's breastfeeding months. Meanwhile, I just can't wait to start this process and exit this country jare. Provincial nomination might just be the way... smiley

See your answer in bold.

Please, on the Work history part of the EE profile, I have my NOC. Is the job title what my employer wrote on my reference letter or must it be the one specifically quoted under the NOC.

Please assist.

creating now might hedge against tie-breaker should your score be at par with draw's CRS

Exactly why lol

Kontagious:

Please pick up your TRF first, there's likely no draw till Wednesday which you have the preceding two days plus today to pick your result. Why rush to create a profile now? On a second thought, creating now might hedge against tie-breaker should your score be at par with draw's CRS.

Sorry about that score. I think it could be overconfidence, cos I had similar experience. After my 1st attempt of ielts result came out....... with great expectation and eagnerness.... when I saw my result I was truly humbled. Brace yourself and dont loose hope bro.

Slowly but surely!!!

IELTS result finally out. Had

Listening 8
Reading 7
Writing 6.5
Speaking 7

I'm thinking of remarking the Speaking and Writing. I read on previous posts that the scores usually change positively after a remark.

I pray it is the same for me because I don't have another 68K to dash BC
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by stealth02: 11:56am On Nov 10, 2017
Great to hear you are eligible on the PEPNP. Yes I'm considering all options including the PNP route as my score is just above 400. PEI has the simplest EoI form which you can email once you are in the pool with an EE profile ID and received your job seeker validation code. If they are interested in your JobBank profile they will get back to you.

I called their immigration office yesterday and the officer I spoke with said she can't give a specific timeline when they get back to applicants after submitting an EoI. However their website states it may take up to 3 months. Remember that's if they are interested in your job bank profile. To give you an idea of what they may be looking for here's a link to the province job board https://www.workpei.ca/job-board-advanced/

Thanks so much stealth02 for this detailed information. Pls, if i may ask, are you on the PNP route. Did some research yesterday and we are considering prince edward island programme. Did a mock assessment and it seems this will be an alternative for us. I will appreciate if you can give us more information anytime you have them. Attached is the PEI asssessment form for anybody that might want to give it a trial.
