nobody gang up against igbo.Igbo are just feeling being hated since GEJ loss the election because they are bad loosers(na delusion) and create enemy for themselves via nnamdi kanu and Igbos careless utterances.....simple!!

but you chestbeat to be controlling 75% of nigerian economy, which due place do you guys want more?

KISS THE TRUTH OR POST EITHER EWEDU PICTURE OR DEMOLA AJAYI PICTURE.
Mr. Danladi, I am against Kalu.
However, your point is invalid. This agitation has almost nothing to do with GEJ's loss but an ingrained belief of the Igbo man that NIGERIA does not want him and they have been waiting for any opportunity to show it and though many don't prefer KALU'S ways they still follow him.
I believe in ONE NIGERIA but of a truth the Igbo has been greatly maltreated by NIGERIA.
if you want I can break this fact down for you

No sir, that feeling started when Buhari referred to them as "5%"

Nigeria would be a great place among nations if the igbo man is given his due place,..

The current tension in the country could be easily traced to the frustration the great igbo is feeling due to the unnecessary gang up!

Igbos refused to concentrate on their progress, they rather chose the way of Biafran agitation, a major distraction.

This 21st century , education is not a monopoly of the yorubas...

Secondly , people study and carry out researches to impact and solve problems

Having lots of degrees is not an accomplishment, it doesnt grow the economy.
Tnks

It partly does because Yoruba's..SW.. controls the economy through their numerous massive industries.

those so called industries, is as a result of nigerians dirty politics,of favoring lagos port over others in the country, the owners of this industries, are not entirely yorubas.
let nigeria divide, or let restructuring occur and watch lagos loose all its economic statistics

Can't find this jelani's name anywhere as the designer of the Chevy Volt.

Something fishy there.

You must be looking at the wrong places or not looking at all..

Try Chevy Volt wikipedia page, if you can't read the whole stuff, just search for 'Designer' on that page...there is only one reference to that one on that page, you can't miss it.

Sorry.

That page was edited. Anyone who's ever been there knows.

Bob Boniface is the main designer of the Volt.

Look him up.

In fact the three guys who designed the Volt are:

Bob Boniface

Ken Karbon

Gary Ruiz.

Jelani's name is nowhere but on Naija and African websites with that false claim.

Isn't it even odd that the chevy's designer's name isn't even a link on Wikipedia to his bio?

This is just another Phillip Emeagwali.

It is true that, a prophet is without honor among his own people...

Some History perspectives are in order....

The Chevy volt was initially unveiled as a 'concept', many Volt Designers presented their concept designs and Jelani Aliyu's concept design was chosen, which was further developed into a production model. Bob Boniface was not the designer, he was the Design Director.

You must have picked the names of Bob, Ken & Gary from a local Ohio publication because, they were the three Ohioan natives on the design team and it is normal for a local publication to highlight the achievements of their own, just like the Nigeria and African press are highlighting Jelani's achievement.

This is the Chevy Volt inside story, if you take time to review it, you will see Jelani mentioned there and not Bob.
http://www.motortrend.com/news/chevrolet-volt-inside-story/

An excerpt from the book 'Chevrolet Volt Charging into the future' writes and I quote in parts:

"...On April 28, Lutz, General Motors' Global Design Director Director Ed Welburn, and advanced design chief Anne Asensio reviewed designers' proposals for the concept car. Exterior designs were presented n sketches and scale models - five from the advanced studio in Warren, Michigan; two from GM's advanced studio in England; and two from the company's advanced studio in North Hollywood, California.

One design already had emerged quickly as the favorite within Boniface's Design-North studio. As Lutz and the company's top design managers winnowed the entries, it was clear why. "Jelani had just captured the grace and proportion we wanted for the concept car, and we fell in love with it," Boniface remembers....."

There are countless international links validating that, Jelani designed the car, not just Nigeria links...it depends on your search criteria and your ability to conduct your searches in such a way, that local Nigeria geographical contents are deprioritized.

I'm quite sure you're aware that millions of concept designs get produced everyday and some end up in motor shows, but most never see the light of day.

Jelani worked in design team and produced a design that the company agreed with, fine.

But stop feeding to the false narrative that he architected the car. Every single Nigerian article on him projects that falsehood.

Jelani was not the visionary behind the Volt, he didnt lead the team that developed it, he didnt design its EV pack or its drive train.

All he did was design a concept car based on Bob Lutz and team's vision and research project into a viable EV for GM. All he did was develop the aesthetics language AFTER someone else came up with the plan to build the darn thing.

It was Tony Posawatz that guided Lutz's vision to a production vehicle.

So Jelani designed the Chevy Volt design prototype; he did not design the car from an engineering and production perspective. Neither did he lead any of the teams most responsible for the Chevy becoming a reality.

Let's stop elevating the man to a status that's not his.

Meanwhile, it's ironic that in the entire prose of the link you gave, nowhere was Jelani even mentioned, besides the flashcard at the very end of the article.

Funny that the so-called designer of the Volt would take a backseat in the car's history.

Isn't it?
