Senator Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, A distinguished aspirant for Anambra Gubernatorial Race under the platform of All Progressive Party.

The Uga Born Politician amd Philanthropist, Senator Andy Uba shared a brief pledge of his agenda in Anambra to Newsmen in Akwa as delegates gets ready to address him as the party flag bearer in a short while.

The Pledge follows below;

1) Using new solutions to solve old problems:

The government of Distinguished Senator Andy Uba intends to change the norm of building heavy infrastructures that costs the govt a fortune without yielding needed results. In education, the govt intends to address issues in curriculum to allow for entrepreneurship oriented courses: courses in human resources mgt, brand mgt, supply chain mgt, project mgt, global marketing in addition to practical skills orientated courses will be introduced as a bridge between secondary and tertiary education.

Have you been to Kenneth Dike library before? adjacent to ABS – that building is a dead and underutilized infrastructure. Handing it over to private hands and making it a centre for acquiring knowledge on special courses and training for out of secondary school, in vacation students and fresh graduates is part of what we intend to do. Have you ever visited Barrack Obama American Corner Lagos? At the corner public school children get the opportunity to learn new things: music lessons, dancing classes, painting and sculpting trainings, specialized computer trainings and more, all for free. This is possible in Anambra State.

2) Performing a proper needs assessment of our existing and emerging markets:

Our markets lack certain enablers that propel growth. The Awka market is poorly located, it has overgrown it’s location. We intend to move it in phases to a more expansive location – the new location will have motorable access in between market lines. Have you been to Terminus Int’l market in Jos? Again, such infrastructure like market will be built to accommodate scalability.

3) Opening up access routes to hinterland or high Agricultural produce yielding regions in the State:

Identifying high yielding agricultural produce areas. Taking responsibility to make those goods available to local and major markets in the state is what our government must do. One shouldn’t have to go to Otuocha to get affordable yams? Do you know why shoprite sells at cheaper rates than other groceries shops? They run an excellent supply chain driven business model. They buy in containers and distribute to their shops across the globe. We must use such idea that aims to reduce the number of middle men for a more affordable agricultural produce.

So Obiano is gonna defeat you...with your useless three pointer.

Obiano signs more MOU than Chinese President in a month. So where is your plan?
