Dear Naija Single brothers and sisters in the Lord,When you want to get married,There are things you shouldn't play with. I know some of us play too much but don't extend your play to these:

[1]Genotype: I have been reading some claiming to be praying for some and AS turning into AA and SS turning into AS. I'll never doubt the power of prayers and what God can do but go to a good hospital and check your genotype and that of your future spouse.

Do not take the word of anyone that anything changed until proven medical experts confirm your latest genotype.

You will live to regret bringing a child into the world with SS and watching your child suffer for something you could easily have avoided. But,You chose to play and played too much.

[2]HIV/AIDS: There's nothing impossible for God to do,Let no man tell you otherwise. But,When you are told that you have been cured,Go to a good hospital and check yourself out.

Don't ever take the word of any man as gospel and go into marriage with anyone without being sure of your status.

Playing with your life is your business,But playing with the life of another person including an unborn child is serious business.

Many men and women have exalted themselves and started speaking big words,Don't fall for it.
We used to have sense before,I still remember when we had sense. When we used to fall sick our parents took us to hospital and then notified Pastor so they can pray while Doctors do their jobs.

Now we hear a woman is seriously sick and her husband took her to Church to see Pastor. Why not take her to hospital and call Pastor on the phone? Pastor will be praying while medical experts will get on with their jobs? We used to have sense don't we?

Your Pastor is your doctor,You ignored sound medical advice because he said so. Your pastor is your Lawyer,You ignored sound legal advice because he said so. Your pastor is your husband,You ignored your husband's words because he said so. Your pastor is your wife,You ignored your wife's sound advice because he said so. Your pastor is your parents,You don't care what your parents says unless he says so.
He is now jack of all trades in your life, who did this to you?

Make no mistake about it,Men of God do a lot of work both spiritually and also in counselling and we have to recognize that.

However,I think so many are stretching it and to a very dangerous level. You can't do anything in your life without first consulting him? Do you ever think for a moment that this pastor is also a human being that have family and faces same family pressures you face? He is superhuman isn't it?

Get a grip,Take control of your life.
See Pastor and receive counsel when you need them.

Sick people[Unless they are demon possessed] are rushed to the hospital and not to Church,Church prays while Doctors do their job.

God is not at war with modern medicine,Stop making it look like that.

Build a matured relationship with your Pastor and stop being a spiritual robot.
