Another crooked twisting of facts. What percentage of Nigeria GDP is from oil? The truth is that as it stands today, without oil money, Nigeria is doomed

Thanks my dear, don't mind that guy trying to make sense yet unable to state anything sensible.

Good news. Let us ensure equity in the sharing. Nigeria is known for sharing. The states should be be doing this and not the federal government. Vv

Going by your logic, where will the states get investment funds guarantee for the investors?
Or you think investors will inject billions of usd without guarantees?

Our patrimony is about to be shared to cronies.
The idea of opening bids is to make it legit and acceptable.

Hahaha

Oh well..

You still think APC is the in thing right? Please smell the coffee, the people are fed up already with this government.

If you think any Nigerian politician has your interest at heart, I am sorry for you!

No Igbo, Yoruba, or Hausa inclined politician, me-first is the motto! if Buhari wants to play real politics (and not his infantile military mentality), you will find apda, pdp etc dissolving gradually. Why? The big wigs will follow the good smell!

More on the marginal field as promised.

Trust me on this. This opportunity has nothing to do with politics.

All you need is

1. Have a technically sound team made up of oil and gas E & P technocrats. Surprisingly, they abound.

2. Get a good technical partner. They also abound. However because this is a marginal field look towards the eastern world or Canada where most operators are already operating marginal field. 90% of operators in Canada produce less than 5,000 bboe/day. They are used to operating small field often doing less than 1000 bboe/day. They are lean and mean operation-wise. They can come up with low CAPEX, low OPEX field development plans. They will also appreciate such marginal fields unlike the major producers. A foreign technical partner is a must.. However it will be wise to do your due diligence on their financial capability. NO NIGERIAN BANK WILL SUPPORT YOU UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO RE-ENTER AND START PRODUCTION.

3. Develop a good technical submission with the support of your technical partners
- Well log data interpretation, check similar formation
- Comprehensive FDP -covering subsurface, surface, facility, process optimisation, operations, management, finance
- Comprehensive economic modeling and analysis with sensitivity (many innovative options)
- Good offer to the farmor
- Comprehensive HSE/CD (remember PIB; offer the community a %)
Considerations will includes
1. Integrated approach - oil, gas, condensate
2. Flow station, topping plant (1000bbls) to produce AGO, LPG (debutaniser/depropaniser) - thereby reducing energy cost and increasing income
3. Low CAPEX, Low OPEX
4. Unitisation opportunity- shared responsibilities......lower production cost

Trust me. Give it a try! Don't believe those STOIP figures, they are estimates. Nigerian fields are known to have upsides.

More to come............

Continued!

The energy scenario suggest that oil price is on the increase now (IEA).

The fiscal regime support this great investment.

I am looking at a Nairaland Marginal Field Team. Anyone in the house?
