The Federal Government on Saturday ignored calls for the immediate arrest and detention of Arewa Youths and said they would not arrest them for issuing quit notice against Igbos living in the north. The minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau said the group was quoted out of context by the media. He said; “The group that called themselves coalition of Arewa Associations that held a press conference in Kaduna where they gave October 1 ultimatum to the Igbos to quit the north as a response to what they termed as issue of separatist agenda of the IPOB and claim that there are lots of incitement from the Igbos against the northerners to which the Kaduna State governor responded that they should be arrested for what they reported.” “Of course they later claimed that the media quoted them out of context. Yes, nigeria is a soverign state. We are third world country but we are not babies anymore. The other time, some hungry looking attorney were sent from US to come and conduct investigation about the killing of armless Igbos miscreant (which I do not support) but not a single attorney has been sent to Syria or Iraq to investigate how US with the silent support of UN and their western allies have turned those countries to grave yard and military test fields where weapons are tested, killing innocent children and families with Drones and missiles all in a phony pretence of ousting Assad. Syria is gradually erasing from world map day by day. Please who doesn't know that United Nation is an extension of United State of America. Until I verify the link to be true or from a newspaper website, I believe it to be false, a government official cannot steep that low to make such embarrassing statement. But on the other hand, this government have time and again, through words credited to the C in C and through his body language shown that the 97% tribe can get away with breaking the law. They are not a faceless group, deliberately or subtly they initiated the hate songs and speeches that's in circulation in the north buh despite calls for their arrest, nothing was done, buh people from other tribes and location can be arrested with the slightest of provocation, it really proves that some are first class and others second class citizens. There can never be justice under this kind of system. I don't share Nnamdi kanus's ideologies but you wouldn't fault him for championing a campaign of separation cause the only people who wants the status quo to remain as it is, is the north who benefits greatly from this warp system. 3 Likes |

The Arewa Youth have not committed any of fence worthy of arrest. They issued a threat and recanted same. On what grounds would they be arrested? People say, "I go kill you today" and they have not been arrested. Anybody can make any threat anywhere in Nigeria and nothing will happen legally. The hunchback idiotic pig on the other hand, is sourcing for funds to buy arms and make war with Nigeria and has refused to recant his threats. Both cases are as clear as night and day and anyone who says otherwise is either daft or intellectually dishonest. |
