You obviously did not study the "international politics" Einl studied.
gantic

No matter how well run or how profitable Ethiopian Airlines is, no country especially a third world African country who survives on UN food aid to feed half its population should come and buy any indigenous Nigerian airline carrier especially as the giant of Africa doesn't even have a national carrier.

That is so simple. Nothing to think about.

So your "factual" claim is no more: "Half the UN budget for food goes to Ethiopia"?

It is now: "who survives on UN food aid to feed half its population"?

All these "super facts" you were taught at this your famous "international politics" course?

I guess it was a course you were encouraged to know everything is "simple" and you are not to "think" as you are advocating. grin

Did you do a "business management" module on the side to get this your philosophy about the approve-able country of origin of the acquiring company?

Einl the genius! grin grin grin grin grin grin

Eyaaa...your naive.

Thisrinternational politics.

You can't let a lesser country come and purchase one of your top companies.

We don't have enough Nigerian owned companies owned by Nigerians and this lesser country wants to purchase one of our best companies.

How many Nigerian companies have made foreign acquisitions??

......
......
......
that's what I thought.

What exactly do u mean by "lesser" country?

Ethiopia has a higher gdp, a higher literacy level and less inequality than nigeria. Also, they dont use generators in their homes and have open gutters everywhere. Hope u know they are the only country in africa dt was NEVEr defeated and colonized by whites. They also have d oldest recorded history of all african countries.

Some pple will just sit in naija and be feeling funky cos they have a large population and heard dt they have large oil revenues. Revenues dt have not helped u or ur family. Mscheew. Ode! Ur even annoying me sef.

Fani-kayode and Stella Oduah really messed up things in the industry.

Ethiopian Airlines is in talks to take over management of Nigeria's troubled Arik Air.

Nigeria’s government took over Arik Air early this year after it declared heavy losses.

Ethiopian Airlines’ head for international services, Esayas Woldemariam, told the Associated Press news agency that the negotiations follow a request by Nigeria’s aviation ministry.

“We definitely are willing and able to take over the management of Arik Air,” he told AP.

State-owned Ethiopian Airlines is Africa's most profitable carrier.

Nigeria does not have National Carrier, yet? A very Big Shame to Nigerian Leaders who fluants impressive dossiers all over the place, yet, they can't manage anything to fruition. They know nothing and they are first to know who is not educated, meanwhile majority of them bought results. The president they claim not to be schooled is 100% better than they are becos he is working to bring investors to the country and also getting international communities to return money stolen by the acclaimed educated thieves. Pa obasanjo, if i can remember, you acquire or you sold and you bought everything owned by NA or helped to acquire everything Nigerian Airways owned, now, see what you have made of it. Pa buhari sir, i beg of you, don't sell the Nigerian Carrier. Everything that is owned by All ends up in the hands individuals, at end of the day it collapses. Is a Shame.
