The Agony Of A Pastor's Son, (true Life Story) by Nobody: 9:25am On Sep 02, 2017
This is my life story, story of a nairalander boy battling serious depression due to evil circumstances.
Pls bear with my grammatical blunders and get the message I am trying to pass across, I believe I will improve with time.
I am not here to bore you with long narratives, I will try as much as possible to make it brief and concise.
.
.
.
This is what is happening in my life right now, I am afraid this situation might overwelm me, This writeup is about the injustice being meted on female pastors (prophetess) in Christ Ascension Church, C.A.C. by the male counterparts
I am a female pastor's son, and this is my sad story...
I will not include names here for security reasons. But some members of CAC in this forum will testify, especially how the administration of Our church is.
I have been following my mum to any station or district they transfer her to.
In CAC, a male and female pastor are usually transfered to same district where they will work for about 3 to 4 years together, sometimes this so called men of God make life miserable for their co worker all because of greed.
My mum had always been the type that avoids anything conflict at all cost, she is the type that keeps suffering and smiling, She always say that God will fight for her, but I'm afraid, I am fast losing my faith because of what I am seeing from this pastor, How God would allow someone I know too well, someone who doesn't have regard for God, mount the Holy pulpit and spew trash baffles me.
Some of these so called men of God are not what we really thought they were, they Only want you to see what they want you to see, but in actual sense, they are monsters, now I am not trying to generalise, we still have a handful of them that are upright, but unfortunately majority of them ain't as rich as the former, and they are not popular too.
Re: The Agony Of A Pastor's Son, (true Life Story) by Nobody: 9:31am On Sep 02, 2017
I am an only son of my mum, Dad is late, died when I was too young, although I still have two brothers, yes they are my brothers because they are now part of my family, both are about 12 and 15 of age respectively, but sadly they are orphans, they lost their parents through poisoning from their evil uncles because of land dispute, My mum took them in when we got transfered to Nigercem because those kids are really seeing hell in the village,if you come into our house, you will not believe we are not related, yea, thats to show you how close we are, and we have never told anyone about their ordeal, it remains our Household top secret, its much revered and sacrosanct because we don't want them to feel bad any time.
They have been following us to wherever we get posted to, right now, one is in primary school, the eldest will enter Jss1 next term.
I am 22, attended many schools about 8 all together, and finally settled down and graduated from one due to the nature of my mum's Evangelical mission work. But it really helped me and being a brilliant type, I always do well in any of those schools.
I graduated in 2013, I was about 17 when I graduated, but I was unable to further my education into higher institution due to lack of fund, because the money the pastor pay my mum a month is not enough for our feeding for the whole month not to talk of sending me to Uni or poly .
This pastor is notorious for not having good raport with female pastors, throughout the whole district he has worked, people in CAC National know him, and His dubious and nonchallant lifestyle.
He doesn't pay my mum Her full salary, He is suppossed to pay my mum 20thousand naira, instead at every end of the month, he will give her 12 thousand naira with flimsy excuses attached, He never share things the way it should, the sad part is that we endup using that money to settle debts incurred, then we start living from hand to mouth.
This man has poisoned the mind of the member through his unquenchable thirst for money, the church He met bubbling with souls and Evangelical activity is now scanty, you hardly see members on sunday, people started changing church the moment some of His characters became unbearable.
This very man, has a fine car and a motorcycle but my mum has none, not even a bicycle, yet he won't allow Her do her work in peace, He has succeeded in training some of his Children in the university, yet he never wanted this poor widow train her own children, because I want those two kids to reach wherever I reach also.
I have been surpporting my family with the little proceed from where I work, I secured teaching Job in a private primary school, where they pay me 5000naira a month, because the place we live now is still under developed, but for about 3 months now the prop has been owing us, I can't be teaching on empty stomach all because He used the money meant for payment of salaries to Do ponzy then.
Now I am currently staying at home, I wan't to go to school, but I don't have anybody to help, not even an uncle to sponsor me, I just summoned courage to post this online, I love Education but I am not opportune to go into its higher level. I am not the only one going through this in CAC, others are in my shoe but they can't speak up, mods pls help push this to frontpage, seun pls, good people of nairaland I need help, I am scared I might hurt myself because of My ill fortune, but I feel for my mum and my two brothers, especially my mum, I don't know how she will feel.
Something happened on a faithful sunday like this, This man was giving holy communion to everybody, when he reached my turn, he skipped me and gave to another person, I thought maybe it was out of ignorance, I called him that he has not giving me , but he ignored me, and continued with other people, I was like 'The ground should open up and swallow me with immediate effect'. I was so much embarrassed that I had to leave the church that day, I don't know how I offended the man. I had always been a good boy to him and people around me, since that day, I have not been receiving holy communion from him because I wouldn't want that scenario to repeat itself, because once bitten, twice shy.
When the time comes for Holy communion, I will just stand up and leave, And I noticed some people started avoiding His holy communion, because half of the church will leave immediately they start singing for holy communion. I have seen it all. I feel like givingup already because no hope for me, I don't have people who can stand for me, thats why I brought it up here, nairaland is my family, And I believe the world will see what is happening to some female pastors in CAC, since there is no hope for my going to school, I wanted to start a business atleast to help my mum and my brothers, and maybe later, enroll into school, but all to no avail, someone that cannot afford 2 square meals a day, there is no way He can achieve that, I have lost weight due to hardship, I am just a shadow of my former self:
this might be my last hope of survival, even if I didn't make it alive after this post, let it be heard that a boy was bold enough to bringup the challenges others are facing on a forum he belong,cc seun , mods pls help move to frontpage, so that people in CAC national will see and take drastic step towards curtailing this menace.
Save a brother, I am so depressed that I have resorted to staying indoors, I don't just know what is about to happen to me, my life seems upside down now, pls help a brother in any little way you can, if I should start narrating everything I am going through, it will be lenghty and out of proportion, but let me stop here for now, I pray God will use someone here as a last resort to help, no matter how little your offer might be. it will make a difference in my life.

Pray, it's all I can say...
The Lord has put Satan under your feet. He is able to prosper you and your Mum beyond your imagination.

It's not about the senior Pastor, it's about your soul. Rather than remain in anger and bitterness, pray for him.

Have you received the Holy Ghost? Do you pray in tongues?

The first thing your mom ought to do is contact the Headquarter and report the issue, if there are witness who can attest to whatever the offences of the Head pastor is their name should be included in the Letter (if they agreed).

As per the Communion service pls you a son of a leader dont leave the church again come-what-may, stand your grand and lay good example for other youth.

Pray for the pastor as well, Jesus/Apostle encourage us to Pray for those who persecute us. Dont see the pastor as the enemy here, see satan working in his flesh and pray against that - God will make way for you and provide a good income opportunity for your family.

Remember let your mom Report to HQ whatever she is passing through, she is a steward who must give account, she might as well request for a transfer if needed.

If Possible if she has the opportunity should engaged in small trade that will not affect God's work (if the Church allows it), Paul is a tent maker also.

God will make way for you and provide a good income opportunity for your family.

Read Psalm:4:4-5 and Exodus: 14:14 and apply like Job, Jacob, Josef and Daniel would have done, believing that God is always in Control of your life.

I feel for you bro cry

Reading your story reminds me of an ecclesiastic movie I watched sometimes ago.

GoodMuyis is right. Don't see the man as a devil per se, but see him as the devil working in his flesh. moreso, don't be too judgmental about the man. Remember? he's a man of God. Leave all judgment to the righteous judge ---» God.

You know, your mum could look for a benefiting job and in fact establish her Church if it's God's will. As for you, you can't tell people you ain't skilled at something. Is it writing? Or tailoring? Most of this well-known fashion designers actually started from scratch. If you have a writing skill, you could look for online jobs that pertains to writing and help them write to get paid instantly. If you've got innovative thinking, then you're on your way to 'stablish your own business.

Finally, I'd advise you to pray and intercede for yourself and that church wholly. Don't give up on God 'cos He's not giving up on you. He sees and knows anything and everything about you respectively.

Jeremaiah33:3; Call unto me and I'll answer you, and I'll show you great and mighty things which you do not know

Thanks for your advice sir, the problem is that there is no money for me to start any of the above mentioned business, I had already considered opening a charging boot here, with a laptop to assist, like sending files to people in exchange for money, I want to seize the opportunity and make something out of my life , because light here is nothing to write home about, people are ready to pay 50naira just to get their phones charged, but No generator or laptop to startup the business, all I am saying is that it all boils down to capital which I had none, I wish I can get hold of 50k, I believe I can make a difference, but where can I get such?
How I wish I know where to secure a loan, one that has low interest rate, I will appreciate.

You know what you can do? There are numerous works outside there waiting for employees, but the problem is you're not determined to work.

I can advise you to look for a job and not just within your locality. You say you teach and they don't pay well, right? Look for another job you're satisfied with, then SAVE and invest. If you've saved from what you receive as salary, then you can go ahead to start your own business.

I can also advise you to tell your mum to support you in this (even in prayer).

I know a friend of whom his family were challenged with hardship when the breadwinner(father) of the family died. His brother had worked in an hotel sometimes before and resigned. One day, while his other brother was surfing the net for jobs online, then he found an hotel job from abroad and he went further helping his brother applying for this job thinking he wouldn't get it. But what do you know? He got a message and a visa from them to work with them overseas.

What am I saying? You can possibly get a benefiting Job online or offline. Your mum could help you too. Go to various places and trust me on this that you wouldn't have gone to seven places before you're called for an interview and get one.

Please, I advise you to keep on praying. God is never asleep. When God has answered your prayer and your opportunity comes, then you can remember this verse of Isaiah60:1: Arise and shine, for your light is come, for the glory of the LORD is risen upon.
