A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has been asked to stop Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOP) from disrupting the governorship and House of Assembly elections in Anambra state scheduled to hold on November 18, 2017.
Daily sun reports that the suit filed by Richard Ndubuaku was ongoing before Justice Babatunde Quadri on Tuesday, August 5.

RationalTV.22web.org recalls that Governor Willie Obiano had issued a warning to the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to stay clear of Anambra state ahead of its November 18 gubernatorial election.

He said Biafra agitators have no power to stop elections in the state and urged them to have a rethink or be ready to face the full wrath of the law.

He said:''We are going to go after them, we will deal with those who said there would be no election in the state decisively.

Meanwhile, RationalTV.22web.org had reported that IPOB ordered the people of Anambra to observe the sit at home protest on the day of the forth coming gubernatorial election in the state.
