He never meant no harm, in d way you posit, he only wanted due process& also to give ample opportunity to efficient bidders & also listening to organised labour on issues of disengagement of workers & remunerations. What he did was to reverse & study the process of those procedures this led to the privatization, not distant from then did we hear, that those companies were sold by to government officials & legislators in power, who used phony companies as cover, such is what we are experiencing in the failure of power sector.
bigpicture001:
now you guyz would beleive when I say...yar 'a'dua was nigeeia's worst president since "99...he reversed d privatization of refinery, he reversed the concession if the airoorts,he reversed the ban on the import quota on cement, ..etc...that man set us bak for 10 years....open your eyes to economy and pay less attention to politics then you can rate your leaders better...

The only time I would support this is when the judiciary becomes honest n efficient that I kn resources would be taken care of

What can be transparent abt dis Apc govt?

The massacre of the enemies of this government is transparent. Ask the terrorist Shiites, ask Boko boys, then ask the albino called Nnamdi Cownu.

It's a welcome development due to our poor maintenance culture as a people. Though my concern is that it shouldn't turnout to be a safe heaven for hard drug peddlers and colossal money laundering centre

Finally they should stop trying to manage these assets. I'm not surprised the unions hate the idea of actually working.

Not a bad point. Go to a lot of government parastatals and witness the decadence. They don't want to work. They leave the office and return when they like. Running their own private business alongside the govt's

It's about time.
I applaud the Minister of Aviation, he's actually working. Probably because he's a former pilot, benefit of putting square pegs in square holes.

Though the Abuja airport has a long way to good, I am impressed with the renovation so far.
