As activities to mark the 30th anniversary of Akwa Ibom state reaches top gear, 90 coloured men known as: Orange Men have arrived Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital in an event that has been described as the mother of all carnivals.

As the streets of Uyo go gaga enthusiastically, residents are in joyous mood and prepared for the celebration. They praise governor Udom Emmanuel for his good leadership and vision in putting the state on the right path of industrilization.

Recall that the Vice President, Prof. Yemisi Osibanjo will on September 23, 2017 commission two world class industries: the mettering and the syringe industries-both first of its kind in Nigeria and West Africa.
