The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has hinted that the Peoples Democratic Party may adopt Option A4 in the selection of its candidates for the forthcoming local government elections in the state.

He stated this in Ado-Ekiti during an interactive session with party leaders from Efon, Gbonyin and Ekiti East local government areas of the state.

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, on Tuesday, the governor, at the meeting, warned aspirants against dropping his name for political gains.


Option A4 was made popular during the regime of the military dictator, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, where voters would queue openly behind their preferred candidates during elections.
