Because of the short term thinking of most one Nigerianists, majority of them will either ignore or never understand this.

Any remaining patriotism that igbos developed or had for Nigeria after the bloody civil war has been lost. This Nnamdi Kanu incident has reinforced to a lot of Igbos their true place in Nigeria which is a conquered people whose participation in the Nigerian affairs is only as result of a literal and figurative gun pointed to their heads.

The older generations that experienced the civil war are the appeasement generation. They have taken so much pain and humailiation in order not to ruffle feathers with the status quo.

The younger generation will never do that. This will not happen. Igbos hate to be slaves. They will never accept it. Especially this generation. Nnamdi Kanu is just the beginning of what's waiting for Nigeria. Things will only get worse from here on.

For the Igbos, that is certainly true. After burning Dangote trucks at the slightest friction with the Nigeria govt, I wonder how Igbos intend to build confidence of others.

Don't worry in the coming days the breath of God's justice shall blow over Nigeria and all enemies of Nigerians will be blown into their dark Graves..

Your point is muddled up. There's no worse case coming to Nigeria, the jobless people traveling up and down in SE in the name of Biafra are just wasting their time.

Nonsense and ingredients!
Re: Nigeria Has Lost Igbos Forever by Nobody: 12:29pm On Sep 13, 2017
There is nothing like Patriotism in the dictionary of IGBOS from the outset..only hatred!
Over the years (after the Civil war) ,there was nothing they could have done but to keep building on such hatred .Your (IPOB) plans had been deciphered a longtym ago, hence the reluctance of allowing the secessionist group in IGBO land take power and use it to their own advantage.
No tribe in Nigeria feels comfortable with IGBOS being the GCFR ...why? Because they already knew there s nothing like Patriotism in their dictionary .

N.B : Not all IGBOS are in support of secession..more succintly ,not all support Nnamdi Kanu's style of leadership and call..

The polity is pretty much heated up, this might not end well. My fear is that Igbo's that have kept quiet have allowed KANU to turn east to a war theatre, the first hand liabilities will be borne by Igbos. I am really afraid for them.

The struggle for freedom and independence is not easy. Even many Nigerians thought Zik was mad to agitate for independence against the great British but the same Nigerians are the ones who now troop out every 1st October to celebrate the independence people like Zik fought for.

In that same way, many people will think Nnamdi Kanu mad for agitating for independence against Nigeria but one day, they too will trooping out to celebrate it.

If Azikiwe fought for independence, how come it was Action Group members that raised all the 3 separate motions for independence?

What was Herbert Macaulay fighting for with the NCNC party that he formed and Azikiwe joined?

The notable input of Azikiwe was to ensure that Nigeria became a country where it will be illegal for any tribe or region to secede.

Na im people dey suffer am since 1967.

Yorubaas think this will not affect them. I pity them insulting IPOB and wishing Nnamdi Kanu dead. This war unlike 1967 will also be fought in Lagos as our people have seen the wickedness of afonjas throughout this process.

I worse things happening. Imagine unarmed youths standing up to the army, it simply shows that they have nothing to lose.

Buhari has finally set the tone for division.

I scored 267 for accoutancy in a federal University and was rejected because the cut-off mark was 270, another 'superior' Nigerian from Borno state scored 220 & was given admission in the same university.

What slavery is worse than that?

Niger Delta is different from South East. The Ijaws, Efiks, Ibibios, Urhobo, Isokos, and Binis are not Igbos. You Easterners should stop dragging Niger Delta into your problems. You people should just face your problems in the South East. We have our problems in the Niger Delta too.

Nigeria has not lost Igbos and will never loose Igbos.

Buhari is just a bastardd and will remain so.

Igbos are a good investor in the Nigerian project and we can't give it up even for the world.
