Restructuring presents the best time for different northern minorities/middle Belt to get states of their own.The the Igala nation needs a state of its own (Okura state or Dekina State). Dekina is the largest local government in Nigeria and west Africa with over 800 villages yet it's still just one Local Government, if it's in other regions this is 3 Local Governments.Take a look at a number of LGAs in the south west, core north,south east and other areas you will understand what am trying to highlight . Its sad that our people are not talking about it or see these huge injustice against us and other minorities in the north/middle belt.We will be presenting this on that day, we will asked that our land seceded to northern Enugu and Anambra state by the colonial masters be returned back to us. Am just wondering how this restructuring thing will work because we have more 300 ethnic groups in Nigeria that are being marginalized, we are all Nigerians.Nigeria is not just about the Hausa,Igbo,Yoruba,the over 300 ethnic groups will table their demands and all has to be taken care of before it will be a success and acceptable. Restructuring is not just about certain ethnic groups or region ,restructuring is about all Nigerians. Whoever will preside over the restructuring proceedings will have a great deal of task trying to put together all these demands by the various ethnic groups and come up with a way forward in such a way that all the groups will feel satisfied.My Southern brothers this restructuring is not a joke as it seems,and it not just the southerners that have a marginalized situation other regions have it as well.

I just pointed out one of such requests that will be put on the table, there are other demands that will be presented not just by Igalas but also by more than 300 ethnic groups. By the way ,why cant the yoruba and igbo also team up and give the hausa/fulani and kanuri a good fight,after all you guys are more educated and well off, dont you think that is also another problem? Hausa is not the same language as kanuri as much as igbo is not the same language as Yoruba, why do they seem to work together?

i read through ur post and decided to encourage it by making a simple comment so dat it stays on to draw scholarly debate. i choose to avoid the qualities of dekina and 'our land given to enugu by the colonialist'.

i repeat the smaller polities in nigeria are about 60percent of the population and can put their heads together for the benefit of their people bt they prefer to hide under a bigger plarform.

I think IPOB agitation is not genuine one, why the insults and disrespect to other Nigerians .Why are they including other tribes territories in their map without consultations. The Biggest mistake Nnamdi Kanu and IPOD Loyalist made is calling Nigerians zoo and the insults.What region in Nigeria is currently having a better deal, i mean the common people? The igbos are well off than all tribes in Nigeria yet you are not satisfied and keep creating tension all over.

Ipob put themselves against all Nigerians with the unbriddled tongue and foul speech of Kanu as well as the godlike worship of the man., It had become a cult already, and kanu could do no wrong in the eyes of the emotional youths.
