Rochas Okorocha yesterday 19th September, 2017, welcomed the delegation of Northern Governors forum, led by Borno State governor, Kashmir Shettima, which were accompanied by other governors from the region like the Kastina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, Plateau State Governor, Simon Dalong, the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Abubakar, to imo state government house.

The visit paid to SouthEast and SouthSouth governors was relating to the clash between the IPOB members and the Nigerian Army that led to killings of some Igbos by the hands of the military in Abia state.
