The leader of the Southeast forum in Lagos State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Okey Ibenegbu has described the rumour that the former National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sherif is planning to join the ruling All Progressives Alliance (APC), as sweet music to the ears of the members of the PDP.

According to him,the former Bornu state governor has never been a true member of the PDP,rather he was sent by the APC to scatter PDP.

He said,now that his mission has been exposed ,he has no other alternative than to go back to where he came from.

He said it was because of Sheriff that PDP lost Ondo and Edo states,adding that without God intervening through the judiciary, PDP would have gone into extinction.
