The endgame of a referendum is achievable because history has proven that the Slogan of a ” Non Negotiable Unity ” is a myth and falsehood.

The Politicians in Nigeria are not the first to claim that the Country will remain “one and indivisible”. Many dictators before Buhari and Co have only used such slogans to cling to power. Permit me to cite a few of them:

1. Dictator Josef Wissarionowitsch Stalin vowed that the Soviet Union will remain “Non Negotiable United” ad infinitum. However, the dissolution of the USSR in 1991 resulted in the creation of 15 independent countries.

2. Dictator Josip Broz Tito promised that Yugoslavia will remain “one and indivisible” forever. Today we know that he was only day-dreaming

3. Dictator Umar al-Baschir swore that Sudan was “one and indivisible”. Today we know that he was simply playing to the gallery.

4. Dictator Mengistu Haile Mariam pledged that Ethiopia will remain “one and indivisible”. Today Eritrea is an independent country

5. Dictator Edvard Beneš swore that Czechoslovakia will remain “one and indivisible”. Today there are Czech Republic and slovakia as independent couintries

6. General Suharto vowed that Indonesia will remain “Non Negotiable United “. However, today East Timor is an independent state.

7. etc.

The truth of the matter is that APC combined with PDP can NEVER EVER maintain Nigeria “non Negotiatable unity”. The Soviet Union was the second most powerful nation in the world but she disintegrated into 15 independent states.

Abraham Lincoln also claimed that the unity of the US was nonnegotiable, today, US still remains one and has acquired many states, extending to the Pacific Ocean.

Ho Chi Minh claimed that the unity of Vietnam was not negotiable, almighty US couldn't split it. North and South Vietnam are still coexisting, without any 17th parallel separation, under one nation with her fellow Indochinese (Cambodia and Laos)

Fransisco Franco made sure the unity of Spain was not negotiable, Spain is still existing as a country in the Iberian peninsula as a country with her neighbors Portugal and British dependency of Gibraltar. No Basque or Catalonia sovereignties.

''The unity of Nigeria is not negotiable'' is the dumbest statement in Nigeria

There is nothing under heaven that is not negotiable.

Mark my words. Nigeria will split. its a matter of time.

and when that time comes. Everybody will agree

If you understood what the meaning of sense is, you wouldn't mention it.

I was referring to the 1861-65 civil war in US.

oops! you are too primitive to understand that!

Add Libya, Gaddafi was once the most powerful African. Check out what is happening now in Libya, by the time the conflict is over in Libya up to three or more countries will likely emerge.

The unity of the US is a voluntary one and very negotiable. There is an active session clause than can be activated by any state upon fulfilment of necessary conditions.
Catalonia is already in the works and exists with high autonomy already.

The funny part is that u have no regard for those that wish to secede from ds country and vice versa. U also don't see anythingbeneficial in ur being in same country as they so u really have no sound basis for supporting that non-negotiable and indivisible crap other than to prove some nonexistent point.

Why was there a convention for Constitution drafting to replace the Article of Confederation in 1777?

So what now happened between 1861 and 1865?

Lastly, can you excerpt from the constitution of the US where you saw that assertions you posted?
