IMO 2019 ELECTIONS: EMEANA HARPS ON GRASSROOT CAMPAIGN.

The secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Imo State chapter, Nze Raymond Emeana has said that only committed grassroot campaign from the party members will boost chances of the party towards reclaiming Douglas House in 2019.

Emeana stated this on Thursday during a meeting with Local Government Area chairmen and secretaries, ward secretaries and organizing secretaries of the party, held at the party secretariat in Owerri. He charged them to be duty conscious and committed in discharging their duties at the grassroot level.

The former lawmaker while promising the support of the state executive to the LGA and ward leaders of the party also reiterated the commitment of the Chief Charles Ezekwem led Executive of the party to reclaiming power in the State and this, according to him, would be an uphill task if grassroot campaign is neglected.

The highpoint of the event was the presentation of new party register to the party officials for onward mobilisation of party members
